Our Boston based Fund Services Product team seeks an experienced Product Manager to support the Asset Owner segment. Reporting directly into the segment lead, the incumbent will be responsible for the following:

  • RFP support: This person will support the Product managers when responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs). This person will gather data, conduct analysis, and author language for RFPs. This work must be conducted under tight deadlines and will typically require coordinating the responses of the team.

  • Presentation material creation: The Product Management team must be able to provide regularly updated material to support the sales, client service organization. This person will be asked to create and update materials describing our Accounting and Administration services in a clear and accurate manner with minimal direction.

  • Present at sales meetings with prospective customers as the Product subject matter expert for accounting and benefit payments.

  • Work across Legal, Risk and Business teams to solicit and refine business requirements, and document acceptance criteria, and serve as an overall expert on the new business process.

  • Responsible for regular reporting to senior stakeholders, reviewing operational cost, determining product revenue, and implementing governance framework.

  • Management Reporting: Coordinate materials on behalf of the team on a weekly, monthly and periodic basis to communicate the team's work product across the organization. This material must be appropriate for senior management review and, as such, must be professional, succinct, and timely.

  • Analytical/project work: This person will be required to provide analytical support to members of the global Product Management team on an as-needed basis. This work will require strong analytical skills using excel, market data services and internal systems. This work will also require working with colleagues across the business and serve as liaison across regions on strategic initiatives and other deliverables to present a coordinated global response.

  • Directly liaise with key clients and internal stakeholders to ensure best in class service delivery by entire team and serve as an escalation point for Fund Services performance, and as a conduit for Operations and Product related requests.

  • Continuously monitor and track new business opportunities, including RFP responses, commercial pricing, contract review, and post-implementation review.

  • Design appropriate oversight of applicable regulations, and incorporate regulatory change into product offerings / solutions.

  • Assess and monitor risk profile through formal risk & control self assessment, with the partnership of key stakeholders.

  • Participate at client service reviews, and represent JP Morgan at industry events.


•Minimum of 5-8 years of investment services or relevant experience

•Bachelors degree required; M.B.A, CFA, or CPA, preferred

•Significant knowledge of the securities industry and applicable regulatory and operational requirements on both the custodial and fund accounting side

•Strong accounting and pension background required. Experience with Benefit Payments and Statutory accounting preferred.

•Strong presentation skills, including presentations to clients, prospects and senior stakeholders

•Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships both internally and with external clients

•Strong client service skills

•Proven ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced environment. Must have the energy and drive to grow a business.

•Analytical skills, problem solving, good critical thinking and decision-making skills

•Experience working across multiple business areas and/or functions to deliver results including Finance, Sales, Risk and Legal Teams.

•Some travel required.
