Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to enhance the infrastructure support for DevOps teams. Thorough understanding across infrastructure to quickly debug and identify issues as they arise during the development life cycle. Reduce application developer time and effort. Provide infrastructure knowledge transfer to developers and to potentially develop code themselves. The candidate will have intricate knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Desktop both physical and virtual desktops. Ability to do application performance and monitoring analysis. Scripting and programming capabilities a requirement. Experience with on premise and/or off premise cloud environments. Self-motivated and strategic thinking a must with strong communication skills. Experience working in a large scale enterprise environment is needed. Comfortable working in deadline driven environment with ability to self-manage priorities. Energetic and a fast learner.

Support for multiple virtual desktop platforms running on Citrix infrastructure.
Performance and monitoring analysis using Splunk, Dynatrace, and AppDynamics.
Lead monitoring best practices within development teams.
Programming and scripting capabilities used to automate processes to provide efficiency gains.
Proactively look for tactical and strategic ways to enhance team’s efficiency.
Help team move towards better DevOps practices through avenues such as automation, self-healing, removing bottlenecks, process improvements, etc.
Collaborate with all areas of IT, Asset Wealth Management (AWM) and corporate IT, domestic and regional, and all levels of management.
Keep abreast of new technologies, quickly learn new tools and practices.
4 year degree (Computer Science, Information Systems or relational functional field) and/or equivalent combination of education or work experience.
5+ years over all experience, with 2+ years acting as a lead engineer in an enterprise environment.
5+ years of hands-on and demonstrable experience in the applicable technology domain.
Expert in more than two technology domains with proficiency in multiple products and technologies.
Thorough understanding and actively following industry leading solutions and technologies in the applicable domain.
Extensive experience with Windows desktop both physical and virtual.
Experience with application performance and monitoring.
In-depth experience in integrated end user technology solutions that span multiple layers that define an overall technology platform or ecosystem.
Strong analytical ability, judgment and problem solving techniques with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal and able to effectively operate with senior management.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization.
Strong ability to understand client and management expectations and to resolve issues that may affect delivery.
Strong ability to mentor, coach and train engineers.
Strong ability to work with teams that are geographically distributed and work across different time zones.
Strong ability to distribute tasks between the team members and coordinate the tasks towards successful completion.
Highly motivated, self-starter, with a demonstrated ability to learn beyond formal training with a strong aptitude for delivering quality products.
