This position is to fill an Applications Support Analyst role within the Mortgage Banking Technology (MBT) Production Readiness group. The qualified candidate will be reviewing the PTO process to evaluate the readiness of a project to deploy to production and to be appropriately supported by the organizations and technology once implemented. Additionally, the PTO Lead will assist other Mortgage Banking Technology Production Readiness team member in the review and approval of Change Management requests to modify the IT environment.


  • Representative from Production Readiness team to liaise with project team

  • Work with support team to conduct periodic P1 review and production breakage analysis

  • Advocate for enhancement scope items; provide approvals on major project deliverables including non

  • functional requirements, architecture reviews, test strategies and deferred defects

  • Provide guidance for project on conducting failure analysis and implementing monitoring capabilities

  • Check that proper training is conducted for support staff, and support process changes are documented

  • Signoff on operability checklist for each project and release going to production

  • Conduct post mortem on project and release quality and PTO effectiveness in terms of production

  • stability measurements with focus on P1 incidents; enable continuous PTO process improvements

  • Must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to develop strong constituent relationships

  • Have effective cross organization

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Ability to collaborate with business and technology partners to ensure end to end quality of our services

  • Strong experience with in conflict management

  • Must have well rounded experience in production support with background in development or infrastructure

  • Must possess good working knowledge in terms of operating systems, application servers and web servers, databases, scheduling systems, file transfer systems and monitoring systems

  • Must have thorough understanding of the Project Management methodologies / SDLC Prior Project Management experience is highly desired

  • Must have SharePoint / InfoPath technical skills

  • Working knowledge of Change Management, Incident Management and Problem Management preferred

  • ITIL certification considered a plus

  • Must have intermediate Microsoft Excel skills in creating/managing Pivot tables, lookups and macros
