About the Role:
Advisor Services Analysts are responsible for a broad range of activities, including: serving as a prospecting resource to drive new business opportunities, building and managing client relationships, educating clients on JPMorgan products, and identifying leading advisors through calling efforts, mail/e-mail campaigns, and referrals.
Partner with internal and external Client Advisors (CA) to generate revenue growth and client retention, including:
Prospecting, closing business, building relationships and promoting JPMorgan mutual funds
Answering incoming phone calls to the JPMorgan Funds Financial Advisor Services desk regarding Funds products and services
Creating client presentations; developing prep and follow up materials for client meetings
Assisting Financial Advisors with JPMorgan Funds web site questions
Liaise with Internal Client Advisors on the generation of Portfolio Insights analysis reports; document sales activity/information in Salesforce and the Product Strategy drive for tracking and Compliance purposes
Create proposals and illustrative models for key sales representatives as needed
Collaborate with team members, internal partners and investment professionals throughout the firm on projects spanning all asset classes
4-year degree (BA/BS) in business, accounting or a related field required
FINRA/NASAA licenses preferred - i.e. Series 6 or 7; Series 63 (will be required once hired)
2 – 3 years of financial services experience preferred, including strong knowledge of:
JPMorgan Funds’ products and services, and all aspects of the distribution channels through which they are sold
Specialized knowledge of JPMorgan’s Insights programs – i.e. Guide to the Markets, Guide to Retirement and Portfolio Insights
Able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with a wide variety of stakeholders – e.g. external and internal partners, etc.
Proactive with a high level of attention to detail; quick learner who can adapt to changing priorities and high pressure environment
Strong time management and organization skills; able to produce high quality work in a deadline driven environment
Intermediate to advanced computer skills - e.g. Salesforce, Microsoft Suite, etc.
