Lead Operations Technology (OPT) Coordinated Release efforts from Release scope planning through post deployment
Guides Release program to transform Release Management Planning and Execution championing efficiencies, controls and quality release management procedures.
Work with Release Leads across the firm to provide key release information on release status, logistics, and execution. Partner to mitigate any release risks throughout timeline.
Submits all required CR documents to CCB Central Release Management team
Assures release follows the defined release and deployment processes
Leads CTO release review sessions and holds weekly release status meetings with cross OPT resources
Leads large complex technology releases containing multiple, diverse projects and technologies targeting a specific delivery window while maintain controls to prevent customer impacts
A Program is defined as a LOB scale endeavor requiring multiple independent workstreams to accomplish a defined result
Leads LOB release programs from commitment through post- implementation
Establishes release status, deadlines, deployment plan and supports incident management
Monitors release KPIs and provide post-release reporting. Monitors actions for continuous improvement
Ensures project is completed in accordance with all Risk, Architecture and other relevant Firmwide guidelines
Responsible for coaching and mentoring less experienced team members
Role may also include people management responsibilities
Self-starter with a proven track record in technology program and project management, process development and implementation
Style that promotes a culture of collaboration and teamwork
8 – 10 years technical background with deep understanding in a broad variety of technologies
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to communicate at all levels
Process-oriented in order to maximize efficiencies within the technology organization
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels and influence key stakeholders
Strong analytical skills and ability to present complex topics in a simplified way
Able to work collaboratively with teams across multiple business lines and geographies
Comfortable working in an extremely fast paced environment, meet deadlines and prioritize accordingly
A pragmatic problem solver and “out-of-the box” analytical thinker that is capable of challenging the operating norm and making recommendations
Demonstrated ability to synthesize information, prioritize business goals and drive results with a high sense of urgency and attention to detail
Ability to generate support from a wide-range of stakeholders and create a strong network of relationships among peers, internal partners and external constituencies
Ability to facilitate meetings with SMEs and management
