Risk and Finance Technology (RFT) builds and supports the firm's financial infrastructure to ensure Finance professionals have access to the tools and information necessary to deliver drive success. In partnership with Global Finance Operations, Corporate Systems Infrastructure (CSi), and others, we deliver solutions that meet the requirements of our key clients. RFT provides technology support for general ledger, profitability, cost allocations, treasury, accounts payable, reference data, project accounting and fixed assets, and reporting tools and the Risk applications.

Responsibilities of this Selenium Automation Software Engineer working with Audit Applications:

  • Understand the various Testing processes, terminologies and best practices.

  • Creation of automated test scripts using UFT, Selenium and Macros.

  • Maintenance of the automated test scripts so that are reused across multiple projects.

  • Creation of test data & execution/updates of the automated test scripts to support testing across different testing cycles.

  • Develop/Optimize regression testing suites for multiple applications using the most appropriate automation strategies.

  • Help design, develop and implement test plans, scripts, and toolsusing the detailed business requirements document provided by thebusiness analysts.

  • Work with business and technology leads to identify the appropriate data for testing, and prepare that data for the test cases.

  • Reconcile test results from different tests and different groups.

  • Perform the test executions in QA and other contingency/backup environments.

  • Develop Application Level Understanding for the applications that are assigned for testing.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment as part of QA team and share knowledge with team.

  • Contribute in QA and test process enhancement initiatives

  • Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.


  • 5-7 years of experience in creating testing artifacts (Test Plans, test scenarios, test cases, test data).

  • 5-7 years of knowledge using Automation Testing Tools like UFT, Selenium, Macros

  • 5-7 years’ Experience developing SQL queries

  • 5-7 years of Testing Concepts & Methodologies experience.

  • 5-7 years of experience in Requirement Analysis & Automated Test Case Creation.

  • Good Communication skills

  • Good logical abilities.

Preferred Experience:

  • 5-7 years of software testing lifecycle experience

  • 3+ years of practical quality assurance experience (EX: designing and executing test strategies and test plans).

  • Software Development (Waterfall, Agile)

Proficient in the following:

  • MS Office tools

  • Proven written and verbal communication skills.

  • Thorough knowledge of software design paradigms and techniques.

  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Solid understanding of relational database concepts and proficiency with SQL

  • Experience with functional, regression, performance, and stability testing

  • Ability to effectively multi-task different testing assignments and projects.

  • Ability to produce test results in a manner that is clear and concise to management and customers.

  • Ability to work with a variety of technologies and third-party products.

  • Solid knowledge of defect tracking tools.

Advanced in:


  • Basic understanding including navigation between functional areas within the tool.

  • Ability to input or load and execute test cases and document actual results within the tool.

  • Ability to pull data from Testing tool for reporting;
