JPMorgan Chase Operations Sr Specialist II, Fortworth, TX in Fort Worth, Texas

As an Account and Data Customer Audit Confirmation Specialist in the Confirmations department, you will perform routine and non-routine activities requiring primarily data entry, secure statements of client's outstanding business activity, i.e. outstanding positions held with JP Morgan at a specified audit date. This information is provided to authorized third parties such as external auditors in a dynamic production environment. This team member you will receive requests from various third parties; auditors, lenders and government agencies requesting balance information on deposit and loan accounts for our mutual client. The Confirmation team will fulfill all requests through approved communication templates, In addition to responding to second level escalation calls.

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver on the specific tasks and requirements of the Client Audit and Confirmations team.

The tasks include the following functions:

• Process Audit and Confirmation requests within service level agreements

• Ensure that Audit and confirmation requests, queries, and issues sent to the team (from both internal JPMorgan teams and clients) are actioned accurately and timely (within SLA) in accordance with stated policies

• Answer to hotline calls from Clients/Auditors/Internal JPMorgan employees during the assigned slot

• Participate in UAT (user acceptance testing) of enhancements and changes to Audit Confirmation systems

• Follow 100% compliance to process related Policies, Guidelines and Controls

• Incorporate the Shared Values and the 5 Keys program on a daily basis

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Banking Industry with knowledge of Investment Banking products preferably.

• Good client service skills including ability to liaise effectively with internal and external groups/clients.

• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

• Control mindset with strong attention to detail.

• Strong problem solving skills to get to the root cause of issues and resolve them.

• Ability to review, analyze and question data by using Excel and MS Access Skills

• Tech savvy with an aptitude to quickly learn and understand relevant systems and applications including upstream/downstream linkages.

• Self-starter able to prioritize key tasks effectively.

• Able to prioritize key tasks effectively with minimal guidance
