BIOS and Firmware Malware Recovery Engineer

Reports to: GTI Chief Architect / GTI Resiliency Lead

Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) is the technology infrastructure organization for the Firm, delivering a wide range of products and services, and partnering with all lines of business to provide high quality service delivery, exceptional project execution and financially disciplined approaches and processes in the most cost effective manner.

Responsibilities of the role:

o Currency in the BIOS / Firmware Malware landscape

o Testing Malware on Hardware

o Liaison with Hardware manufacturers

o Devising recovery strategies against known threats

o Advising management on firm-wide purchasing strategy with regards to hardware based on BIOS/Firmware capability

o Devising BIOS / Firmware standards and approaches firm-wide

o Writing Standard and Guidance documentation

o Knowledge of recovery approaches

o Likely worked in a Cyber area or Hardware Manufacturer
