Cyber security is chartered with managing and directing the security programs focused on the discipline of cyber security design, implementation, analytics, threats, monitoring, response, and investigation across the organization. Our core services are focused on assuring the security of the computing environment, protecting customer and employee confidential information, and complying with regulatory requirements globally. This is accomplished through strong information risk governance, active collaboration with business risk managers, and providing high quality security solutions and services which enable improving the organization's overall risk posture.
This role exists with Cyber Technology - Vulnerability Management and will primarily focus on developing requirements with stakeholders, designing enhanced communication processes, and organizing engineering initiatives to achieve major uplift activities.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Requirements Gathering and Development -- Working with various teams acorss cyber to collect business requirements and develop technical requirements for Cyber Engineering to execute
Technical Documentation -- Working with Engineering to enhance documentation and collaboration among team
Develop Communication strategy for Vulnerability Management team to interface with Service Owners and Production management groups.
Experience in information technology preferably with an emphasis on information security / cybersecurity.
Familiarity with Information Security technology in one of the following areas: Vulnerability Management, Application Security, Cloud Security, Network Security, Endpoint Security, Security Incident & Event Management (SIEM), Data Protection and/or Web Fraud.
Experience working with Agile / Scrum methodologies
Experience in some or all of the following technologies – Java, .NET, Python, Bash, Perl, Unix/Linux, Windows
Understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing protocols, firewalls, IDS and IPS is a plus.
In depth knowledge and understanding of technical execution disciplines (engineering, architecture and design)
Knowledge of enterprise systems and infrastructure with a drive for controls, automation and efficiency
Possess a business process improvement and performance management mindset
Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Jira and/or Confluence
General understanding of Financial Services and key drivers of business performance preferred.
Clear ability to exercise judgment and sound decision-making under pressure
Strong oral and written communication skills, able to communicate with senior Technology and Business management
Proven ability to influence others across all contributing teams and disciplines
Strong team player with the ability to build relationships from both a business and technical point of view
Ability to resolve conflict & facilitate decision-making
Flexible, process-oriented, organized, with excellent analytical & troubleshooting skills
