Global Security and Investigations (GS&I) provides protection, investigation, resiliency and crisis management services in support of the firm, its employees, customers, assets, and facilities throughout the world. This responsibility includes the development of security and safety policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative compliance, security guard management, alarm response, branch and corporate building security, customer safety, physical crime investigations, workplace violence, fire and life safety, executive protection, pre-employment screening, security operations globally, and fraud Investigations.
Corporate Sector F&BM is seeking a Vice President for a Business Manager role based in New Jersey as part of the Business Management team to support GS&I.
The candidate is responsible for supporting activities to meet strategic organizational goals and the many tasks that are critical to the efficient and effective operation of GS&I. The Business Manager optimizes the business performance by helping to drive key initiatives. The candidate will provide project management, advanced metrics, data management and consolidation, and financial analysis support to the Business Management team as it partners with various GS&I teams and other areas of the firm to provide transparency around the processes and expenses. Core activities associated with the position include the following:
Developpresentation materials for various audiences including senior management
Plan,track and report on financials, headcount and key metrics. Review and analyze trends and providecommentary for primary drivers and variances to senior management.
Workclosely with partners in HR, Finance and Technology and other internal functions
Leadand contribute to key projects, including strategic, control, technology andexpense related initiatives
Analyze,develop and propose enhancements to current business processes, reports, andapplications in order to optimize effectiveness
Supportthe team with preparation and execution of annual budget planning and monthlyforecasting
Support senior management teamagendas, priorities and meetings, business reviews, reporting, town halls, teamoffsites and follow ups
Oversee investment and productivityinitiatives
Oversight of realestate/ location strategy needs and space planning
7-10years experience in business management, finance and /or operational roles
Abilityto work independently and demonstrate a high level of personal initiative
Exceptionalverbal and written communications skills with the ability to create concisecommunication materials for senior management
Advancedanalytical skills, problem solving, good critical thinking and decision-makingskills; able todevelop, clearly present and draw conclusions
Provenability to build strong partnerships with colleagues
Self-motivated and driven to identify areas of business improvement, with afocus on creating efficiencies and enhancing controls
Ability to prioritize and drive efforts across various groups and be ableto handle multiple tasks at the same time while having excellent timemanagement skills
