The Core Foundation Services team (CFS) is responsible for providing end to end support for critical technologies that are used across the company. This includes Configuration and Orchestration, Identity Management, Name Services, Enterprise Monitoring Solutions, and automation tools used to manage these technologies.

The Data Management team within Core Foundation Services (CFS) group is looking for a Business Analyst who will be responsible to:

  • Govern – Firm-wide review of DQ progress, set policies, review system & process changes

  • Measure – Baseline assessments of DQ, automate tracking, and scorecard stakeholders

  • Support & Investigate – manage escalated issues and produce root cause analysis reports

  • Mitigate DQ Changes – Identify and support changes that will prevent DQ issues. Partner with system architects, service owners, and process engineers

  • Run Cleanups – Identify efforts needed and augment staff to cleanup urgent data issues

  • Understand both Legacy and Strategic data sources and facilitate demise of Legacy systems after successful adoption of Strategic systems

Technical Skills / Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Technology Infrastructure and interdependencies of infrastructure related data

  • Experience with Discovery scans to collect information about hardware, operating system and software residing on the server

  • Solve business and analytical problems using quantitative approaches, data analysis techniques for high volume data computation and processing

  • Experience in Asset and Configuration Management process a plus

  • Extensive analytical skills in terms of Data Quality concepts related to Technology Infrastructure

  • Good knowledge of data modeling, lineage, data lakes/ reservoirs, metadata

  • Hands on Experience on Data Management - 7-10 Years

  • At least 5 to 7 years of experience with strong infrastructure BA experience working with Servers, Database, Middleware and Storage technologies.

  • Must have 3+ years of experience in statistical modeling, data visualization, predictive analysis using tools such as, R, Tableau, Qlikview and/or SAS.

  • Must have 3+ years of experience analyzing and reviewing financial services infrastructure data issues pertaining to operations, risk, finance, compliance, or process and controls.

  • Must have 3 +years of experience designing and implementing analytical or data management technology solutions to meet financial services client issues pertaining to operations, risk, finance, compliance, or process and controls.

  • Must have 3+ years of hands-on experience with ETL techniques using Python, API, and/or Scripting

  • At least 3+ years of experience in Product Management - User onboarding, Product Support, Requirement gathering.

  • Must have at least 1 year of experience leading a team to address financial services business data issues pertaining to operations, risk, finance, compliance, or process and controls.

  • Experience with ETL techniques using Python, API, and/or Scripting
