Chase Commercial Banking includes seven businesses: Middle Market Banking, Government, Not-for-Profit & Healthcare Banking, Corporate Client Banking, International Banking, Treasury Services, Real Estate and Credit Markets.
This role will help transform and operationalize our technology operations ecosystem designed to position executives with the knowledge to manage and communicate the cost, quality, and value of IT. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, passion for data, a big-picture vision for executive dashboards, and the drive to make that vision a reality. This role involves close collaboration with all IT groups, Business partners and Finance professionals at all levels within the organization. These insights will enable us to continuously improve the delivery, health and cost of our Technology environment to position executives with the knowledge to manage and communicate the cost, quality, and value of IT Services. With a big picture perspective, this strategic leader and their staff are responsible for enabling insights into complex technology problems through leading-edge data visualization innovations and decision support solutions.
Partner with AIO leadership to understand the key decisions they need to make and the metrics used to drive those decisions.
Combine AIO services knowledge with client usage patterns to develop and maintain improved allocation models. Acts as liaison to the managers to understand and identify pending impacts to the environment, changing technologies, and the resulting client impacts.
Partner with Metrics & Reporting team to create standard and ad hoc reporting for managers, IT executives and business clients. Prepares management presentations for Senior IT Management.
Provide expert level technical expertise that enables greater transparency into the cost of infrastructure, including collecting functional and business requirements, translating data into a working set of operational and financial models and management reports. Interprets data and provides recommendations on costs allocation methodologies. Makes recommendations to gather all necessary data to gather client specific consumption data.
Bachelor’s degree required. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
Demonstrates understanding of core business functions.
Requires knowledge of programming, development, and technical architecture.
Requires skillful project execution experience and knowledge.
Demonstrated experience in a key lead role in major company initiatives and demonstrated leadership experience
Excellent communication and presentation skills to executive management audiences.
Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, quickly shift between competing and sometimes conflicting priorities in a high pressure, fast-paced environment
Demonstrated progression of professional responsibility
Comfort with challenges that initially are low structured, defining structure and business case for change
Solid understanding of the metrics and data technology needs to run the business across many domains including project delivery, operating performance, application availability & performance, infrastructure, finance, vendor management, etc.
Requires strong ability to apply structure to loosely defined complex problems.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills for financial modeling and analysis.
Strong to expert level skills and experience in formulaic logic and data transformation such as MS Excel if statements, vlookup, pivot tables, macros, etc.
