The Role:

U.S. Funds Marketing, part of the global Asset Management Marketing team, is comprised of marketers who focus on understanding client needs, championing the J.P. Morgan Asset Management brand and serving as strategic and creative engineer in identifying, executing and implementing integrated marketing initiatives that provide differentiated client experiences. The team’s efforts promote our wide range of mutual fund, ETF, 529 and SMA products to intermediary clients across various distribution channels, including:

  • Independent Broker Dealer (IBD)

  • Wealth Management (WM)

  • Institutional Advisor (IA)

  • Chase Wealth Management (CWM)

  • Retirement (DC)

  • Subadvisory/Variable Annuity

Global Strategic Relationships (National Accounts)

As a Marketing Associate on the Segment Marketing team, this digital specialist will report to the team’s head. S/he will help drive the creation of both unique/innovative online programs and more traditional marketing deliverables—all of which will be measurable, scalable and in alignment with the goals and objectives of the Funds business.

Key responsibilities

The Marketing Associate will collaborate with distribution channel Marketing Directors and other Marketing and Sales professionals to develop and implement integrated multi-medium programs and standalone digital/traditional marketing initiatives. S/he will manage all aspects of projects/programs from inception to completion in collaboration with cross-functional teams and internal and/or external partners/resources. S/he will manage timelines and budgets while producing best-in-class outputs.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Sales-enablement strategies

  • Content, design and execution of programs

  • Lead generation and handoff

  • Testing, measurement, analytics, reporting and optimization

  • Systematic incorporation of learnings for continued evolution of best practices

Mix may include the following and other media :

  • Email

  • Promotion on web

  • Collateral

  • Rich media

  • Template creation and utilization

  • Event merchandising

Core competencies and minimum requirements

  • Degree in Marketing or related field with at least 2 years’ experience in financial services or consumer marketing

  • Ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels including senior management

  • Proven project management and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, solid organizational skills and the ability to accurately manage large volumes of information and pivot efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, grammatical expertise, strong proofreading skills, the ability to curate content effectively and evaluate/edit copy

  • Capacity to construct efficient processes and the desire to revisit processes routinely in the interest of ongoing refinement

  • Ability to influence others, as success will require delivery across a matrix within and beyond marketing; relationship builder and creative problem solver

  • Experience with development and/or measurement of consumer lifecycle marketing programs

  • Experience with at least two digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, email, display, affiliate marketing, etc.)

  • Knowledge of CRM systems desirable
