Role Description

The role is with J.P. Morgan’s Treasury Services (TS) Business Management team. The TS Business Management team supports the TS line of business within J.P. Morgan's Corporate & Investment Bank. TS provides cash management and transaction services to the world’s largest corporations, financial institutions, and public sector entities. The candidate will report to the Business Manager for North America Payments. Business managers directly support the Product teams by conducting analyses and driving projects that enhance business performance. We are responsible for helping formulate and articulate business strategy, supporting the business with key insights and analytics, preparing senior management presentations, understanding and managing expenses, and conducting the annual budget process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directly supportproduct teams by helping formulate strategy and execute on aggressivegrowth agenda

  • Lead strategicand financial analyses and develop business cases as needed – e.g., newmarket and product initiatives, pricing, operating model changes etc.

  • Collaborate withProduct, Finance and Technology teams on a range of projects to drive businessperformance

  • Serve as trustedadvisor to the Product Executives

  • Own the annualbudget process and accurately forecast revenue for North America Payments ona monthly, quarterly and yearly basis

  • Identify costefficiencies in both direct and indirect expenses

  • Create seniormanagement level presentations illustrating strategy and businessperformance

  • Overseeanalysts/associates and help them advance their skillsets

  • MinimumEducation: BS; MBA Preferred

  • 5+ years ofexperience in an analytical role – e.g., product strategy, finance,investment banking, consulting

  • Knowledge ofpayments business including domestic and global cross-border payments,liquidity solutions, foreign exchange, front end digital interfaces etc

  • Minimum 2-3years managing analysts/associates

  • Solid understanding of financial modeling, valuationand presentation development

  • Ability to analyze complex information and communicatefindings succinctly

  • Inquisitivenature with advanced problem solving and critical thinking capabilities

  • Ability toquickly grasp concepts, learn processes and execute on deliverables in atimely manner

  • Ability to workindependently with the focus on efficiency and quality

  • Excellent timemanagement skills, being flexible to handle multiple tasks at the sametime and prioritize the tasks in the order of importance

  • Stronginterpersonal skills, the ability to partner and build relationships with peopleacross the organization

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint isrequired; SAS, SQL and other analytic tools also valued

  • Excellentwritten and oral communication skills
