International Marketing Manager, Commercial Banking – Chicago or New York

We are actively seeing a Marketing Manager based in Chicago or New York to drive strategic marketing programs across Commercial Banking’s International business. In this role, you will develop and execute global and regional marketing programs in support of our international business objectives. You will benefit from vast internal resources—including the Market Intelligence, Content, Digital, Creative Services and Communications teams—to drive dynamic marketing strategies. The right candidate will be business-minded and have marketing experience in a global organization, with a proven track record of success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute marketing programs, campaigns and material that are aligned to key business priorities, including global initiatives, competitive positioning and product solutions

• Partner with internal teams to create and promote sales and marketing content, thought leadership content, presentations, invitations, advertisements and other client-facing marketing material, as well as internal communications

• Effectively showcase client success stories across appropriate channels to further the brand’s positioning

• Develop a thoughtful and consistent platform on which to position key stakeholders as thought leaders, both internally and externally

• Ensure all marketing activities reflect Commercial Banking’s value proposition, key messages, and brand

• Measure campaign performance and effectively communicate results and recommendations to inform future initiatives

• Support a series of global events, including strategy, logistical execution and budget management

• Lead marketing budget planning and tracking

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or related discipline

• Seven+ years of marketing experience; financial services, digital agency or international experience is preferred

• Understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels

• Experience managing people

• Ability to work across time zones as necessary to deliver a superior client experience

• Effectively manage a number of projects simultaneously with a high degree of competency and quality across multiple businesses and regions

• Desire to develop thoughtful creative briefs

• Strong client focus and sound judgment

• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills

• Experience working with copywriters and designers, digital and social media teams

• Highly organized, detail-oriented and proactive

• Expertise with Excel (e.g. data manipulation and analysis, equations, etc.) and PowerPoint (creating and editing presentations)

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• High degree of professionalism and flexibility and relationship building skills

• Self-starter, with an ability to work both independently and as a team member

• Event planning experience preferred but not required
