The JPMorgan Chase Legal Department is responsible for providing legal services to the Corporation and is organized by practice groups that generally align with the Corporation’s lines of business and corporate staff areas. This structure encourages legal teams and businesses and staff areas to discuss legal, regulatory and business developments effectively and in a timely manner.
About the Office of Legal Obligations . The Office of Legal Obligations ("OLO") is responsible for oversight and management of the End-to-End Legal and Regulatory Process Program (“Program”). The objective of the Legal and Regulatory Process Program is to design and develop a global, firm-wide, risk-based process to evidence the Firm’s understanding of applicable laws, rules and regulations (“Legal Obligations”) and the policies, procedures and controls needed to comply with those Legal Obligations. Reporting will be made possible by linking an enterprise-wide taxonomy of Legal Obligations to controls that evidence compliance, including policies, self-assessments, training, monitoring and others from each Line of Business. Sustainability will depend on a “lifecycle” based on enterprise-wide standards and governance to monitor compliance with current Legal Obligations and to oversee consistent, Firm-wide changes in businesses and products as Legal Obligations develop.
You will work directly with the Lead Program Manager for the OLO Legal group. Your responsibilities will include:
Key responsibilities :
Assist with presentation materials and related work for the OLO Legal group.
Metrics Reporting: This person will be required to provide metrics reporting to the OLO Legal team on a weekly basis.
Analytical work: This person will be required to assist in providing analytical support to the OLO team.
Project Management: Assist with the enhancement of project management methodology.
Business Management: Assist with the Business Management aspects of the OLO Legal program by interacting with vendors, legal finance and others.
Presentation material creation: This person will be asked to create agendas and presentation materials.
User Acceptance Testing: This person may be asked to participate in testing the Enterprise Library Application.
Other support work as required: This person may be asked to assist other team members in the execution of their responsibilities.
Data integrity and ad-hoc remediation work as needed within the Enterprise Library Application.
This person may also assist in on-boarding, relationship management and reimbursement of outside counsel.
Engage in special projects as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Finance or related areas.
Minimum of 4 years work experience in Communications, Business Management and/or Program Management areas.
Experience creating complex metrics reports in financial services, management consulting or related experience.
Advanced PC skills including Power Point, Visio and Excel.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Proven success in solving problems.
Data driven analytics experience preferred.
Must have strong work ethic and attention to detail.
