The Role:

Chase is looking for a Product Manager to be part of Digital Payment Products Team, supporting our person-to-person payment product (Chase QuickPay with Zelle). The vision of this team is to satisfy our customer’s transactional needs through secure, simple and convenient digital technologies, making digital their channel of choice.

This role requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-performing environment, where creativity, collaboration, and strategic thinking are the norm. The successful candidate will be a problem solver, results focused, detail oriented, and process disciplined. The position will offer an opportunity to:

  • Manage and develop person-to-person payments product across channels (i.e., online, smartphone, tablet, etc.)

  • Engage with and build relationships with multiple LOBs (lines of businesses, e.g., Retail Banking, Business Banking, Private Bank etc.) and other Digital Services areas (e.g., technology, PMO, user experience, operations, risk & control..etc.)

  • Assume Product Owner roles in leading P2P product scrum teams

  • Provide direct input into Chase’s Digital Product Development roadmap, including the execution timelines

  • Be part of a team that launches new or first to market digital capabilities that benefit our customers

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Technology and Design teams to lead P2P product developments efforts

  • Manage product backlog, production support, issue & defect resolution and prioritization

  • Work with 3rd party vendors/ partners to enhance product offering

  • Monitor against agreed goals and benchmarks, identifying, scoping and finding implementation paths for needed enhancements, and creating remediation plans when needed

  • Conduct periodic product performance reviews with key stakeholders (plan vs. actual, key milestones/deliverables, management focus items, etc)

  • Monitor the day-to-day and monthly health of the product (scorecards, volumes, problems)

  • Publish regular executive reports summarizing the overall health of the product, industry and competitive trends and the voice of the customer

  • Monitor any product change request and assist when required in resolving production related problems

  • Conduct pre-release reviews which could include regression testing and QA to certify the release as production ready

  • Work with cross-functional partners to strengthen product controls, compliance, and risk environment

Qualifications:

The requirements for this role are as follows:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience working in a product management or agile transformation experience required

  • Financial industry, payments, or digital background is highly desirable

  • Passion about digital payments, P2P, and industry

  • Experience on SDLC (system development life cycle) preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives to completion under concurrent, rigorous, and regulatory deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment

  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to present fact-based recommendations in a clear, logical, and concise way: "tell a story" with data

  • Strong presentation skills and ease with effective communication with all levels of management and partners from a variety of business functions

  • Ability to develop and communicate product development business cases using financial models

  • Demonstrated people management and team-building skills

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's/MBA degree preferred
