JPMorgan Chase Vice President, Index Options Trader in New York, New York
Duties: Identify trade opportunities to enhance strategy returns. Price and execute trade options for clients. Interact with sales team to understand clients' views and expand market knowledge. Monitor and review positions to ensure proper hedges have been made. Review risk reports to better understand portfolio's market risk and hedge desk's positions. Use trading and risk management systems to identify, assess, and monitor volatility risks. Work with international compliance and market risk teams to analyze and review firm procedures. Perform duties with a focus on emerging markets.
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any), Finance, Economics, or other quantitative field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as an Equity Derivatives Trader, Options Trader, Securities Lending Trader, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following: equity derivatives trading in emerging markets in Brazilian local equity market; identifying and assessing risks generated by trading; pricing and executing options trades for clients; dispensation of business capital; risk management including understanding and analyzing market risks and impacts of volatility to company positions such as stocks or bonds or Forex (FX) or rates and their derivatives. Experience and skills can be gained pre- or post- Bachelor's degree.
