The Lending Solutions organization is part of J.P. Morgan’s Wealth Management business and partners closely with the Digital Wealth Management team (DWM) – including senior management and front office leaders – to ensure the Lending roadmap and digital lending product offerings meet client needs and enhance their relationships with the firm. The Lending Solutions organization aims to create an integrated and seamless digital lending experience. Tight collaboration with functional partners and control areas is essential in Lending Solutions’ goal of executing against a multi-year strategic roadmap that will drive growth, increase advisor efficiency, improve client satisfaction and grow market share.

Position overview:

Lending Solutions is seeking a highly effective Head of Digital Lending Solutions to lead the development and ongoing enhancement of the Lending client & digital experience for a substantial multi-year transformation, as well as to identify opportunities for industry-changing innovation and drive them to fruition. The Head of Digital Lending Solutions will report directly to the US Head of Lending Solutions with a dotted-reporting line to the Global Head of Digital Wealth Management.

The ideal candidate has a variety of past experiences leading the definition of the strategy for, building, implementing and executing multi-dimensional digital and/or client experience initiatives with a high degree of strategic importance and senior management engagement. It will also be important for the candidate to have a passion for digital lending product offerings and capabilities, and also have deep knowledge of the technology and operational planning processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a multi-year Lending client experience roadmap with a particular focus on delivering scale and efficiency through digital

  • Develop and execute on a model to solicit feedback from client advisors and clients. Use those learnings to re-engineer and enhance the client experience with a focus on the digital journey.

  • Analyze the marketplace (both internal & external to JPMorgan Private Bank) for competing and partner applications

  • Manage and drive the execution of the Lending client & digital experience strategy

  • Build strong relationships and partner with the Lending Solutions and DWM Leadership team to prioritize innovation by providing an intuitive, fully-rationalized view of benefits and trade-offs to set and manage expectations

  • Consistently and effectively engage stakeholders in the Lending Solutions Business, DWM, Technology, Design, Operations, Credit Risk, Client Service, Marketing, Sales, Senior Management, and other areas

  • Coordinate and partner across JPM’s lines of business to leverage the best practices and ideas to deliver a streamlined digital lending experience to clients and advisors

  • 12+ years of experience in financial services, preferably with experience in wealth management, private banking, or a closely related financial services organization

  • Bachelor’s degree and MBA, preferably in Digital, Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field

  • Proven track record in defining and building a state of the art client and digital experience strategy

  • Deep understanding of wealth managements products, particularly lending

  • Ability to prioritize projects and efforts according many variables including business and client needs, competitive and industry trends, resource and funding availability, and internal trade-offs

  • Ability to manage tight delivery timelines and execute with calmness under pressure with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy required

  • Demonstrated track record of a polished leadership style that fosters teamwork and collaboration, and ability to manage a multi-layered organization of talent

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to influence people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions

  • Strong commitment to professional responsibilities and superior work ethic with adaptability to push beyond standard hours during busy periods to meet tight deadlines
