JPMorgan Chase Information Risk Analyst - Wintel/AD in Tampa, Florida

  • Manage Security administration activities on Wintel platform, ensuring access is granted in accordance with security control policies and procedures.

  • Articulate the business value and impact of advanced technical and non-technical information and understands when to escalate issues

  • Ensure information controls, back-up and recovery strategies are in place across all environments

  • Document projects and deliver presentations with minimal supervision

  • Participate in audit support activities, as they pertain to access administration, for both internal and external audits

  • Identify opportunities and lead efforts to reduce problems and optimize support

  • Provide leadership and mentoring to IT project and Operations team

  • Delegate project duties to project team and ensure they are on track with project deliverables

  • Provides team guidance and leadership on troubleshooting security issues

  • Oversee staff participation in implementation of security related projects for new/enhanced technology

  • Interface with Line of Business Information Risk Managers (IRM) to identify and resolve potential access control risk issues

  • Facilitates business calls for high severity incidents

  • Includes people management responsibilities including performance management, mentoring, coaching as well as team budget responsibilities.

  • Propose process changes to improve the efficiency and quality of work

  • Responsible for the overall success of the operations and ensures the task is completed on time and within SLA and are aligned with the business' strategies

  • Improve current processes and drive positive change in: controls, data quality and regulatory compliance

  • Work with global operations management to promote risk awareness and compliance, in line with established IT Control policies, processes and procedures

  • Develop and implement effective processes to identify, escalate, report and track risk related issues

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; MBA or a Masters degree in Risk Management, Operations or similar discipline preferred

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Wintel or Active Directory

  • Minimum 5 years supervisory experience and demonstrated leadership capabilities

  • Familiarity with IT risk management framework and control self-assessment process

  • Industry recognized certifications (CISA, CISM, CRISC) recommended

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to negotiate, compromise and demonstrate diplomacy in sensitive situations and to interact effectively with senior management across diverse cultures

  • Knowledge of key controls and how they impact the business from an operational or systems perspective

  • Proven leadership skills with track record in delivering high performance

  • Demonstrated coaching, motivational and team building skills

  • Strong strategic thinking, research, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills

  • Ability to identify ways to increase efficiency and effectiveness of work performed and resources utilized
