JPMorgan Chase Cybersecurity Software Engineer - Pega Development in Wilmington, Delaware

The work you’ll do is vital, as it will protect over $18 trillion of assets under custody and $393 billion in deposits every day.
As a Pega Software Engineer, this person will design, develop, test and implement workflow application in Pega 7 platform. A successful candidate will work within Cyber Security Engineering, in partnership with the firm’s Architecture, Security Operations and Lines of businesses, in a hands-on environment. The role will require rapid application prototyping and direct user interaction. The workflow application built in Pega will integrate with various tools used by analyst using integrations capabilities in Pega 7 as well as using orchestration products.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Provide technical leadership to scrum teams
Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements; drive them from concept to implementation
Defining technical approaches and tooling adhering to SDLC guidelines
Work with product owner and Cyber security operations on agreeing on refining business requirements and acceptance criteria.
Minimum of 7 years hands on experience engineering and supporting clustered large scale enterprise systems for large corporations.
Experience engineering, deploying, supporting and maintaining packaged code enterprise wise.
Strong Java development experience; Otherwise solid experience in other Object oriented language
Excellent understanding of doing integration with third party APIs (Webservices, JSON, REST, XML etc.) and message queue
Proficiency in development and deployment using Tomcat and Websphere
Good understanding on database design and query optimization
Strong passion to learn – the selected candidate will be provided training from the vendor and is expected to clear Certified Senior System Architect in Pega 7 within 1 year of joining
Preferred Experience (Nice to Have)
Thorough understanding and ability to articulate core concepts of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
Understanding of network concepts such OSI layers, Firewall and Load-balancers
Hands on experience with database engineering, schema design and database access.
Intermediate command of Python, Perl, SQL, Regex or Shell scripting.
Prior experience in multiple roles such as development, production issue resolution, architecture and managing scrum teams
Prior experience with JPMC tools and processes for IT Risk and Vulnerability Management, security scanning tools and automation tools
Familiarity with workflow tools, case management concept and rule based processing on Pega 7 platform is added advantage
