JPMorgan Chase Project Execution in Wilmington, Delaware

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for directing and managing large and / or complex projects across the JPMorgan Chase Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) organization with focus on Mortgage Banking Technology.

This position requires a strong self-starter who can proactively engage a virtual, cross organizational team with minimal formal direction. Senior level interpersonal skills such as influence management, negotiation, and analytical/problem solving skills are required. You will manage projects from concept through implementation including initiation, requirements, design, build, & test and support in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Including coordinating resources (staff, equipment, vendors and consultants) across one or more projects, managing the budget for assigned project(s), monitoring project progress (risks & issues), adjusting resources and priorities accordingly, preparing and presenting progress reports for management, collecting, documenting and archiving all required SDLC artifacts.

  • Management of project financials; including project budget, forecast and actuals.

  • Strong MS Office skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel

  • Familiarity with Agile methodology, standards and tools required along with Microsoft Project.

  • Work with other cross-functional managers and scrum teams to assist with delivery of the releases.

  • Monitor ongoing projects to evaluate progress and take action if any issues arise.

  • Work with QA Manager and testing team to ensure thorough testing of modules/applications/interfaces.

  • See projects to completion within terms of SLA and supervise accurate turnover to Operations staff.

  • Manage geographically distributed and culturally diverse workgroups and demonstrate solid project team management, leadership and negotiation skills.

  • Handle challenging workload and tight deadlines.


  • Bachelor degree, specialized training or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum 3 years project management in an application development setting.

  • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies and Standards

  • Hands on experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Clarity, MS Project, etc.

  • Working knowledge of SharePoint is a plus

  • Experience managing geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups with strong team management, leadership and coaching skills

  • Project Management Certification a plus

  • Knowledge of outsourcing methodologies and operating models, and working with professional services firms

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experienced and confident when working with professional services firms.

  • Experience developing strong client relationships
