JPMorgan Chase Business Analyst/Project Manager in Brooklyn, New York
Rates electronic trading controls Business Analyst and Project Manager will be part of a team focused on requirements and tracking of controls across Rates, FX, and Commodities businesses. The team focuses on protecting the firm from business, technology, regulatory, and catastrophic market risks associated with electronic trading. This key role will focus on the Rates business. In a Business Analyst function the role will partner with the business, risk, technology and other stakeholders with the goal of defining and documenting critical electronic trading controls in a growing business and regulatory environment. In a Project Management function the role will track and coordinate the new builds, issues, and fixes associated with the Rates controls.
Understand all existing Rates electronic trading activities and their corresponding technology stacks, including: component schematics and corresponding controls.
Understand any new business activities and work with the stakeholders to ensure proper controls are in place and configured as part of new business approval.
Document logic and behavior of existing controls by working with the technology teams.
Draft specifications for new and enhanced controls by gathering requirements from various stakeholders and ensuring consistency of these requirements with other business areas.
Define general use cases and business edge cases to ensure thorough test scenarios.
Track development, testing, and release status of new and enhanced controls.
Track and help prioritize controls issues and fixes.
Critical and analytical thinking.

Willingness to act proactively and help push priorities with multiple teams.
Ability to organize and track multiple projects and issues of varying priorities.

Experience with the Rates and Credit business preferred.
Electronic trading experience preferred.
Experience with business or technology controls preferred.
BA/BS in Information Technology, Management, Finance, or related discipline preferred.
