The Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Finance and Business Management (F&BM) group provides financial advice to support the CIB’s business strategy and helps to ensure a sound control environment. Within F&BM, the four major areas of responsibility are: Business-aligned BMs (Business Managers), the CIB Controller, Support Staff CFO, and Planning and Analysis.
Business Support Management (BSM) is a CIB Finance & Business Management function focused on 3 principal stripes:
– Business Change Management (BCM)
– Assistant Management
– Expense Management
The Business Change Management (BCM) Team is responsible for control-focused activities in support of CIB businesses. This includes, but is not limited to, management of all on/off boarding and transfers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
This BCM position will support New York CAO Operations and CAO-Other businesses. Candidate must be comfortable interacting with varying levels of senior management.
Responsibilities include the following:
Act as a conduit to CIB & CorporateReal Estate teams; maintenance of floor plans, move management, review ofcost allocations / cost centers
Assist in implementation ofenhanced on/off boarding, transfers in/out processes
Floor / Physical access (reviewand certification)
Project Management liaison(i.e. technology upgrades, facility upgrades and moves, summer internonboarding)
Consecutive Leave tracking
Provision of technologyhardware, applications & market data
Provide Business Resiliencyplanning support (Call Trees and Disaster Recovery Site Testing)
Enforce a dynamiccontrol/compliance environment and continually mitigate risk in businessprocesses
Additional job scope includes providing guidance and support and driving the agenda in the following areas:
Ensure that effective businessand process controls are maintained consistently across all businesses
Participate in strategicinitiatives and ad hoc projects within Business Support Management
1-2 years ofrelated experience
Strong oral and writtencommunication skills
Strong independent problemsolving skills
Customer service / Clientfacing experience is helpful
Ability to work under pressure,prioritize multiple assignments, and bring tasks to complete closure
Excellent relationship buildingskills with the ability to listen well and influence others
A self-starter who is organizedand consistently meets deliverables
Focus on Controls andmitigating Risk factors
Knowledge of MicrosoftOffice (Excel, Word, and Powerpoint)
Comfortable leading aninitiative or playing a support role on the broader team
