Job Description

The DCO Clearing team is responsible for trade processing and position maintenance of all North American Futures and Options trades using the relevant market watches and exchange GUIs. It is our responsibility to clear and reconcile all trades efficiently and accurately, chasing for allocations where needed and monitoring STP allocation systems for failures. We are also responsible for testing key systems in preparation for new releases of software due to regulatory change, efficiency improvements or bug fixes.

Summary of Responsibilities

Candidate will be responsible for development of requirements for cross-regional clearing support in addition to North American responsibilities. This entails becoming proficient in EMEA clearing processes to be able to support that region as needed, as well as being responsible for NA exchange processing.

  • Take ownership of critical functions including but not limited to client allocations, average pricing, data entry, and static data maintenance

  • Manage risks for back office clearing activities

  • Increase operations efficiencies through the use of several automation tools

  • Work closely with other regions to ensure cross-regional resiliency – some initial travel may be required

  • Ensure standard operating procedures are up to date.

  • Assist with projects and testing as needed

Skills and Qualifications

  • Prior knowledge of F&O Clearing operations is desired with prior experience dealing with European exchanges a plus.

  • GMI and ClearVision experience, along with an understanding of F&O trade flows desired.

  • North America Exchange GUI knowledge desired.

  • Pit trade data entry and out-trade resolution a plus.

  • Detail oriented with excellent numerical/analytical skills.

  • Flexible schedule due to varying requirements within the F&O Clearing arena

  • Works well under pressure and has the ability to multi task.

  • Self-starter, highly motivated and driven.

  • Team player who enjoys working in a fast paced environment
