Program Overview

Treasury Services and the Commercial Bank are launching a global, cross-LOB program to improve the client and employee experience and optimize straight-through-processing of payments.

We are going to make tools and information available to clients to speed up implementations and we’ll provide multiple ways for clients to quickly get answers to their service inquiries. We’re also bringing together the information and tools employees need in a single, intuitive portal, enabling them to provide faster implementations and inquiry resolution without sacrificing the high degree of accuracy that our clients value. In addition, we’ll leverage data science and artificial intelligence to proactively provide differentiated insights that drive better decision-making and optimize their transaction processing business.

The program is structured with four treasury services functional teams (Set-up & Maintenance, Inquiry Resolution, Data Insights and Dashboards, and Foundational Elements), four channels teams (Chase Connect, Access/Access Lite, Navigator 2.0, and APIs), and a program office that will perform overarching demand and delivery management, track key performance metrics, and accelerate adoption. Each cross-functional team will be empowered to refine and prioritize our build and integration based on client/practitioner feedback.

Team Overview

The Core Enablers team will build out the datasets, alerts, search, entitlements, and other essential functionality that enables more efficient service and implementations. Members will work in close collaboration with the other program teams as well as the product organization and technology infrastructure teams to ensure solutions meet the needs of internal and external users. The team will comprise product managers and technologists and will leverage shared resources from the program office.

Role Overview

The Global Head of Product Management – Core Enablers, will lead a team that will play a critical role in differentiating the firm in the marketplace. The primary focus is on automating the internal and external user experience and, via defined functionality, to make the process of servicing our clients more efficient, timely and transparent by leveraging existing firm assets, where possible, and developing new and innovative toolsets. This team will develop tools that enable visibility and insight into clients’ products and services and setup configurations, enhanced data searches, automated alerts, and appropriate information access.

Working as the bridge between end-users and the development team, this leader and his/her team will communicate the voice of the users, create/manage/maintain the Core Enablers strategic product roadmap, articulate new features and enhancements to technologists, coordinate the successful implementation of product releases, and support ongoing product use while ensuring focus on the program’s strategic vision and goals while consistently meeting deadlines.

Our ideal candidate is a driven, creative, problem-solver with strong influencing and relationship management skills and experience coordinating with senior executives, product management, and technology teams in an agile development environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with clients, client service,implementations, and sales colleagues to understand client needs and painpoints as well as trends in the competitive marketplace

  • Develop user journeys and other artifacts that helpcommunicate, and rally support for, new features/functionality that are mostimpactful for clients

  • Develop and adapt product roadmaps to enable achievementof the program’s overarching goals, in a manner consistent with our guidingprinciples

  • Prioritize the product delivery schedule in an objectiveand transparent way and determine resource needs to meet key deadlines

  • Identify critical dependencies, resourcing gaps, andother issues and present recommendations for resolution

  • Maintainongoing proactive partnership with technology team members to ensure businessdemands are understood and delivered in an agile manner within agreed upontimeframes

  • Ensure feedback from user demos is incorporated intoroadmaps so that deliverables meet business needs

  • Coordinate product releases and support client andpractitioner adoption of new features/functionality

  • Provide coaching to team members and input intoperformance reviews

Qualifications:

  • Track record of strong performance at the Executive Director level

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience, including experience in productmanagement at a financial services, technology, or fintech firm

  • Self-starterable thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative and cross-functional environmentthat is results-driven

  • Creative problem solver, capable of developing innovative anddifferentiated solutions

  • Rigorous, logical thinker withability to identify and articulate rationale, assumptions, and risks

  • Knowledge of treasury services,corporate/commercial banking and client service/implementations functionsand platforms a significant plus

  • Superior judgment to mitigate risk and foster anenvironment where risk/control issues are escalated and creative solutions areidentified

  • Bachelor’s degree required;graduate degree in a business or technical field preferred

  • Flexibility for occasional travel

  • Location base in Chicago or NewYork
