The Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries group focuses on U.S. and Canadian companies typically with revenues of over $500mm which require traditional banking services in addition to investment banking products. The group partners with investment bankers, credit and other product partners to offer customized and complex financing solutions to our clients.

The CCBSI Business Management team is responsible for the organization, delivery, and execution of both strategic and tactical initiatives to support the business. The team partners closely with CCBSI senior management and key product and functional partners through various initiatives.

The Technology & Business Process - VP will play a key role in CCBSI’s growth agenda by supporting, enhancing and developing CCBSI business processes, with a heavy focus on technology solutions and business intelligence tools. One of the main responsibilities of the role is to be CCBSIs Project Lead on Project Catalyst.

Project Catalyst is a key Commercial Bank transformation investment. The Catalyst team work directly with their respective Commercial Bank Lines of Business to set the strategic direction for the sales processes, technology and data required to support the current and future needs of the sales organization. Near term Catalyst efforts are focused on driving sales process improvement, launching a new CRM (Salesforce), implementing other sales enabling technology and providing actionable data & analytics to the sales organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Central point of contact between CCBSI and Project Catalyst

  • Represent CCBSI in various Project Catalyst forums (i.e. Stakeholder updates, scrum calls, design sessions)

  • Ensure all CCBSI interactions with Project Catalyst give a consistent message

  • Run weekly CCBSI Catalyst Stakeholder meeting with CCBSI leadership

  • Ensure CCBSI meet the deadlines for all Project Catalyst deliverables

  • Plan and organize CCBSI various resources (i.e. bankers, business operations) against Project Catalyst deliverables

  • Coordinate with Project Leads from MMBSI and CRE to keep all LOBs as consistent in how we are handling Project Catalyst

  • Key stakeholder in the interaction between Project Catalyst and CIB Technology

  • Drive the CCBSI business to be aspirational when giving requirements to Project Catalyst

  • Train and assist CCBSI SMEs before, during and after Project Catalyst requirement gathering sessions

  • Provide/organize CCBSI resources who can provide training on how CCBSI does business to CB Transformation team (including CIB partners)

  • Perform impact analysis for CCBSI on any Project Catalyst proposed changes, and ensure all impacted parties are made aware of the changes

  • Coordinate with CCBSI Business Management, Business Operations, and Marketing to ensure consistent requirements are being provided and to discuss impact of proposed new functionality

  • Produce Project Catalyst update materials for various forums (i.e. BIT council, CCBSI Management Committee, Town Halls)

  • Stay connected to the CCBSI business to ensure you understand the current priorities of the business

  • Stay connected with CIB Technology (including items outside of the scope of Project Catalyst)

  • Manage monthly meeting with CIB Banking Technology

  • Ensure there is an agenda and appropriate topics are discussed

  • Understand business priorities and identify what IT solutions could accelerate results

  • Share, recommend and promote existing / new solutions that could represent a good opportunity for the business

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience (technology delivery, transformation, program management, process improvement, change management)

  • Investment/Commercial banking or management consulting experience preferred

  • Business management, finance and/or project management experience preferred

  • Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint (PitchPro+) required

  • Familiarity with internal JPMC systems (e.g. Client Central, CKC) is a plus

  • Experience with Salesforce

  • BA/BS degree
