In partnership with senior business leaders, set the strategy for recruiting, training, retention, and development of Financial Advisors, as well as lead the Chase Wealth Management Advisor Development Program. Manage the design, delivery and evaluation of the Advisor Development Program; build and test program pilots, evolve towards and stand up a successful national Advisor Development Program. Support Chase Wealth Management business priorities by attracting and retaining top talent in the industry, with a focus on Advisor experience and building and reinforcing a diverse and inclusive Advisor population.
Chase Wealth Management encompasses our Chase Private Client (CPC) and Chase Investment Services businesses.
Oversee and deliver the Advisor Development Program lifecycle end to end:
Advise on program design, implementation and execution, including all experiential learnings & workshops, in partnership with HR and Learning
Lead program participant selection strategy, in partnership with Recruiting and professional networks
Facilitate and determine Advisor participant placement
Oversee the program’s progression, monitoring for opportunities to refine and scale the program from pilot stage
Build and maintain extensive business engagement with CB/CWM and AM/WM professionals to actively involve in training design and program instruction
Lead the design and development of the Advisor continuing education curriculum in partnership with CWM executives, Divisional Investment Managers, MDWs, training instructors and Advisor participants
Represent the career development interests of Advisors, leading forums to engage, collect and respond to direct feedback in order to foster Advisor growth and retention
Define long term vision for Advisor development, formalized career path and learning framework for Banker to Advisor readiness and mobility as part of Chase Academy. Partner closely with the business, HR and Learning Specialists to facilitate development of program curriculum, including working with senior managers across LOBs to ensure content meets the needs of CWM’s business strategy as well as Advisor career development
Influence and lead Market Directors assigned as direct managers throughout Advisor rotation: set program’s performance objectives, provide coaching, direction, performance feedback and development for the field management-Advisor relationship
Commercially market and promote the Advisor program across the industry, identifying new opportunities to promote interest and engagement with professional networks
Monitor and report on trainees’ performance and provide feedback to program stakeholders
Manage and track program budget
Prior experience in financial services preferred, particularly in the investments business
Prior experience managing employees and/or projects
Ability to interact and build strong relationships with all levels of employees on a national basis
Strong project management and organizational skills
Strong judgment, execution and decision making skills
Entrepreneurial and results oriented
Public speaking experience required and confidence speaking in front of large audiences
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
Strong team player and able to work on a flexible and fluid team
Possess a passion for training and development
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required with minimum 5 years’ experience; Series 7 licensing preferred
