JPMorgan Chase Project Manager - Identity & Access Management in Chicago, Illinois

As an experienced professional in our Cybersecurity organization, you’re equally committed to watching over our data today, as well as finding innovative new ways to protect it in the future. To do that, you’ll help lead a highly motivated team laser-focused on analyzing, designing, developing and delivering solutions built to stop adversaries and strengthen our operations. You’ll use your leadership skills to give guidance, best practice advice and support across all our business and technology groups. You’ll take the lead on incident response, risk reviews and vulnerability assessments, identifying threats, all of which ladder up to driving and selecting cost-effective solutions. You’ll deploy best practices, new policies, and emerging trends to strengthen our strategic roadmap. You’ll keep management, executive directors, managing directors and stakeholders in the loop, as well as managing people and budgets. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

  • Excellent command of Cybersecurity organization practices, operations risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering threats and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies

  • Keen understanding of national and international laws, regulations, policies and ethics related to financial industry cybersecurity

  • Noted cybersecurity expert, keeping technical skills current and participating in multiple forums

  • Expertise in Agile and can work with at least one of the common frameworks

  • Ability to identify network attacks and systemic security issues as they relate to threats and vulnerabilities, with focus on recommendations for enhancements or remediation

  • This will require an understanding of requirements, operating models, business flows and data and then partnering with technical specialists to deliver appropriate solutions. There is an implicit ownership and accountability for the solution working as intended

  • The ideal candidate is a results-oriented hands-on leader who can handle many different roles such as:

  • Leading a complex program or project to delivery

  • Partnering with key stakeholders, multiple business units and control functions to deliver upon defined objectives

  • Advising stakeholders on options, risks, and aligning of priorities

  • Collaborate cross-function with infrastructure, support, and other software engineering team

  • Collaborating with business users and technology partners at all levels

  • Creating solutions from an control and audit mind-set that mitigate risk efficiently and effectively

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Project Management with a focus on Identity & Access Management concepts and industry leading packaged identity and access management solutions

  • Project Management Professional certification desired

  • Work Experience in implementing Authentication solutions for on-premise, cross-domain and cloud platforms

  • Strong understanding of industry standard authentication and authorization protocols and technologies that includes SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SCIM, LDAP, and Kerberos

  • Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Active Directory; Active Directory Federation Services; Ping (e.g., PingFederate, PingAccess);CA SiteMinder

  • Experience with deploying large and complex global projects engaging multiple business units and control functions

  • An understanding of access control concepts including directory services, LDAP, PKI, password management, certificate management, in addition to those listed above

  • Strong knowledge of RESTful Web Services and JSON

  • Experience in programming languages: Java, .Net

  • Proficiency in people management with the ability to manage a team of people through coaching, motivation, day to day support and delegation

  • Strong understanding of network related concepts including: VPNs, Leased Lines, IP Addressing, IP Restrictions and Firewalls

  • Knowledge of information security principals and best practices

  • Experience in audit participation and implementing controls

  • Familiarity with national and international laws, regulations, policies and ethics related to financial industry cybersecurity desired

  • CISSP, CISM, CISA, CIPT, CIPM, CRISC or other relevant certification desired
