The evolution of CIB Banking Production Management (PM) technology business has resulted in a number of highly strategic initiatives. Some of these strategic initiatives include service management and effort tracking, failover and SR expansion, automation, process redesign, upskilling, DevOps adoption, standardization of operational practices, adoption of new controls tools such as Sophia, Site Reliability Engineering, Access Uplift, and privilege account remediation. This role is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Banking production management team. The successful candidate will have most, potentially all of the following skills:

  • APPLICATION MANAGEMENT – Expert understanding of technology and how technical solutions can manage, cross-impact, and uplift applications

  • STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT AND GOVERNANCE – management of key stakeholder communications and relationships

  • RISK AND ISSUE MANAGEMENT – management and escalation of risks and issues specific to the application on boarding to the strategic controls platform. Escalation of risks and issues at program level if it is likely impact is not localized to the application

  • DEPENDENCY MANAGEMENT – management of key dependencies identified during analysis phase key for completion of application migration

  • FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONAL KNOWLEDGE - Understand Firm, technology direction and have experience in matrix financial enterprises managing large volumes of client transaction processing

All internal moves will normally take place on the same grade and same salary. Salaries are reviewed annually in February. Exceptions to the rule regarding transfer on current salary may include a move between geographic locations.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Support the Banking production management organization to drive delivery against strategic initiatives

  • Gather, compose, and analyse business requirements required to enable the team to execute

  • Perform process analysis to identify opportunities to drive efficiency as well as identifying impacts, dependencies, and risks

  • Perform gaps/difference analyses to determine the degree of change from various initiatives

  • Facilitate collaboration and cross-impacts between initiatives

  • Create regular management status reporting highlighting status, risks and gaps

  • Contribute to the development and execution of communication plans

  • Analyse large quantities of data

  • Maintain global relationships with other teammates, support teams, and business users

Qualifications

  • College degree, specialized training, or 10 years technology work experience

  • Experience, hands on or theoretical, of multiple technologies – in particular data mining within databases and presentation tools

  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Flexible, process-oriented, organized, with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to create unique business process scalable solutions

  • Ability to establish rapport and manage interactions with senior stakeholders

  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

  • Technology project management

  • QlikView dashboard development – Nice to have

  • Professional certifications – (MCSE,CISSP, PLIC, A+)
