JPMorgan’s Commercial Bank (CB) is a market leading provider of Treasury Services (TS) products to the Corporate Client Banking, Middle Market, Government, Healthcare, Not-for-Profit, Financial Institutions Group and Real Estate markets. The CB TS Payables Product Sales Specialist (PSS) role is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for Core Cash Payables product sales, delivering best-in-class product solutioning that leverages the collective payables capabilities of the Firm, and generating profitable TS payables revenue. Key focus of this role is to arm and train TS Sales and bankers to sell Payables deals independently while engaging deeply on the largest and most complex Payables opportunities in their market.

The Payables PSS role requires a deep understanding of CB’s TS Core Cash Payables solutions as well as JPMorgan’s online access solutions, including Chase Commercial Online and JPM ACCESS; the ability to identify, create and pitch profitable, client-tailored solutions; and understanding industry trends, market pricing and competitive intelligence as inputs into deal strategy and the CB product roadmap. The Payables PSS role will also help lead client payables process re-engineering recommendations, perform business case analyses for clients supporting an integrated payables solution set, and articulate the end-to-end operational and working capital benefits of our disbursement products. They will work closely with the Card, Supply Chain Financing (SCF) and Foreign Exchange (FX) product sales teams in this pursuit.

In addition to structuring complex deals and supporting TS Sales in the deal cycle, this role will partner with TS Training to deliver detailed product training to the TS Sales, Banking and Client Service teams.

  • 5+ years ofTreasury/Cash Management sales orproduct management/development experience, with a focus on the payables productset

  • Strongtechnical expertise, payments industry knowledge, and consultative backgroundaround complex solutions

  • Strong executivemanagement presentation skills, including ability to sell at the CFO level

  • Laser focus inunderstanding and articulating customer needs and turning needs into actionablesolutions and sales

  • Abilityto generate ideas, identify and drive the development of new business

  • Demonstratesexcellent selling and negotiation skills

Location : This position primarily supports our Midwest and South Region. Preferred location: Chicago

Travel : Moderate to heavy travel is required to support a multi-state sales territory.
