JPMorgan Chase Associate Engineer in Columbus, Ohio
Duties: Perform administration, code merges, branch creation, forking, and user support. Create and maintain subversion, GIT hooks, and scripts for notification and automation utilizing standardized software development processes. Troubleshoot deployment issues. Provide daily technical support to all development teams. Work with the lead Source Code Administrator overseeing the implementation and maintenance of tools and all associated tasks. Participate in the administration and management of software tools. Coordinate the creation of new branches and work steams, code merging from one release to next release, build-coordination, and migration to test and production environments.Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field of study plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience as an Associate/Technical Consultant, Software Developer, DevOps Engineer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as an Associate/Technical Consultant, Software Developer, DevOps Engineer, or related occupation in lieu of a Master's degree and two (2) years of experience.
Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience with following skills: designing optimized and scalable business solutions; software configuration and delivery; customer training and support; and technical advisory and release management processes. This position requires any amount of experience with the following skills: Jenkins; Bitbucket; Git; Groovy; Chef; Ant; Perl; Unix Shell Scripting Languages; Python; Dockers; JAVA applications deployed on Linux Servers; JIRA; Bamboo; Confluence; and Unix Operating System.
