The Corporate Third Party Oversight (CTPO) team is responsible for developing, deploying, overseeing and ongoing reporting of a program that drives the effective use of third parties to accomplish JPMorgan Chase's strategic goals. This includes building awareness of the program at the firm and ensuring consistency globally across both the Lines of Business (LOBs) and corporate groups. It also includes understanding and dissemination of regulatory requirements and reporting to regulators on the program and status. The major focus of the program is to ensure our vendors are performing to the same high standards that JPMorgan Chase holds itself accountable to including client service, quality, control, regulatory compliance, business resiliency and protection of information.

The Risk Design Program team within CTPO provides forward looking strategy for the function. As an Information Risk Lead on the Risk Design team, your primary responsibility will be to support key initiatives such as the centralized supplier issue reporting and resolution program. Additional responsibilities will include supporting initiatives such as supplier residual risk, aligning with JPMC Cybersecurity team to enhance the Supplier management program, and driving efficiencies across the program while maintaining a focus on risk controls.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execution of a centralized Firmwide program to respond to and resolve Supplier issues

  • Coordinating, enforcing and tracking remediation response actions, including appropriate escalations to various cross functional stakeholders, including senior management

  • Continuous improvement and evergreen progress of the supplier issue management process

  • Perform strategic planning and vision setting on the Risk Design Program team in alignment with Corporate Third Party Oversight (CTPO), Cybersecurity, Technology Controls Office (TCO) and regional/local regulatory requirements.

  • Integrate emerging risk control requirements into the existing Supplier Risk Assessment process

  • Strong understanding of Cybersecurity and Risk Control frameworks and their adoption in Supplier management domain

  • Participate in internal leadership forums with various stakeholders TCOs, Technology resiliency, Compliance, Legal, Sourcing, Cyber, CTPO and regulatory engagement teams to understand forward looking agenda and adapt program to accommodate future demands

  • Identify opportunities for improving supplier risk posture as well as JPMC's supplier risk management processes, including expanded monitoring, KRI tracking, etc.

  • Influence technology direction and develop requirements for supporting the supplier risk management process, tools and integration in CTPO program

  • Assist with various Supplier Assurance Services (SAS) program initiatives working closely with the CTPO Program Leads and SAS Leads.

  • Support internal education and best practices sharing with peers and colleagues, as well as supplier education & awareness, as needed

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to deliver increasing operational efficiency in the processes

  • 5+ years of experience in Supplier/Vendor Risk Management, Technology Audit function or Information Security Risk

  • Familiarity with vulnerability and incident/issue management procedures

  • Experience establishing, partnering across LOBs and establishing good working relationships at all levels of the organization to ensure a coordinated and effective program

  • Superior MS PowerPoint, MS Excel skills

  • Advanced MS SharePoint skills

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
