Cybersecurity Technology Controls (CTC) delivers streamlined and consistent solutions supporting JPMorgan Chase’s Controls, Access Management and IT Risk agendas, with a focus on stability, delivery, efficiencies and people. The Global Identity and Access Management (GIAM) organization within CTC provides access control governance and Identity Services for all lines of business (LOBs) globally, providing the right access to the right people at the right time for all technology platforms and applications supported by TC, and provides a comprehensive set of applications, tools, and staff to globally implement, monitor and manage technology risk solutions.

In the role of Infrastructure Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for a team of Project Managers, managing Infrastructure projects by ensuring project delivery meets on time, on budget, in scope and within quality constraints. You will be responsible for the teams project execution, status reporting, interaction with, and managing project stakeholder relationships. As a Technology Portfolio Manager, you will support the process of forecasting, procuring and building infrastructure to support project requirements. Develop project funding estimates, project schedule and execution approach. Utilize a rigorous requirements gathering and architectural design process and oversee document creation process to address the needs of the project.

  • Responsibilities will include management functions such as review cycles, staff performance and oversight, and reporting on behalf of the team

  • The individual will be expected to partner with stakeholders and engage various technical and business partners, both in teams and individually

  • The individual will find themselves managing project activities including procuring infrastructure, overseeing server/database/web build process, working with CTC/GTI to ensure proper forecasting of rack space, storage, network connections and backup requests are planned and implemented correctly, as well as, being well versed in JPMC and GTI tools, processes and workflow

  • Ideal candidate should also have a strong background in technical documentation creation and very detailed project schedules.

  • Leadership experience running teams of project managers across multiple time zones, or similar leadershiip experience

  • Team management experience in a project and portfolio team

  • Leadership skills and experience of review cycles, project budgeting and reporting

  • 7+ years of IT Project / Program Management experience

  • Experience with Infrastructure Projects (Midrange (Windows, Unix servers), SAN, Backups, Desktop, Network and Mainframe)

  • College degree, specialized training, or equivalent work experience

  • Ability to persuade and influence is KEY. Must have ability to be tactful yet assertive. Strong collaboration and negotiation skills

  • Ability to develop strong client relationships

  • Capable of managing complex issues in a changing environment. Proven experience with client services and support

  • Strong team management skills including planning, budgetary control, people management, etc.

  • Requires good understanding and experience of Project Management delivery methods and tools

  • Requires detailed knowledge of the Project Life Cycle

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and MS Project)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
