Senior MarketingAssociate – Direct Marketing/Response

The Senior Marketing Associate is responsible for developing, executing, and managing multiple direct response marketing campaigns to support key Business Banking retail marketing initiatives such as customer acquisition, customer cross-sell and customer retention.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing campaigns both digital and print to ensureinitiatives are on-strategy, on time and within budget parameters

  • Optimizing direct response marketing campaigns toimprove results, create efficiencies and reduce costs

  • Collaboration with marketing managers to identifyopportunities, campaign strategy and the framework for measurement andreporting

  • Management of multi-channel direct marketing execution(from concept development to delivery) including working across multifunctional teams, such as:

  • Agencies on creative development and execution

  • Modeling team, list team and list brokers to coordinatetargeting

  • Analytics team to report campaign results

  • Print/Production/Fulfillment Agencies (and or liaison)

Qualifications

Experience should include:

  • Strong knowledge of and 5-7 years experience in directmarketing is required.

  • Digital marketing experience in both owned and paidmedia

  • Strong knowledge in the creative development of email,ads, landing pages

  • Consumer marketing experience; business to businessmarketing a plus

  • Managing large-scale acquisition and customermanagement direct marketing programs including mail, email, online andtelephone

  • Agency/vendor management

  • Knowledge of database marketing principles,segmentation, testing and results measurement

  • Specific experience in financial services includingdebit or credit marketing and/or agency-side experience is a plus

  • 4-year college degree preferred

  • Ability to think strategically, but willingness to"roll up your sleeves" and manage the details of directmarketing project execution

  • High energy and the ability to manage multiple initiativessimultaneously and work well under pressure and tight deadlines

  • Strong relationship development and negotiating skills;able to earn respect and trust among internal and external businesspartners and team members

  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude; must becomfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities

  • Creativity and innovation with a focus on constantimprovement

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
