JPMorgan Chase Mobile Security Engineer in Columbus, Ohio

Role

The Mobile Security Engineer role will

  • 1) help mature and build JPMC’s mobile application and platform security program

  • 2) support new mobile security technologies and drive their adoption across the entire organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in application development and operational support as well as experience with software security or information risk.

Responsibilities

  • Work with mobile application development resources to protect JPMC’s mobile applications

  • Provide interpretation of the risk associated with detected security vulnerabilities

  • Support identification of corporate security policy gaps

  • Craft new policies to include mobile needs and perspectives

  • Provide expertise to customize our training and certification programs to ensure they meet mobile security needs

  • Integrate other testing capabilities in the Q/A phase

  • Assist in supporting and monitoring the vulnerability management process.

  • 3+ Years’ experience developing and deploying of mobile applications

  • Proficiency in the following

  • Java and/or .NET

  • Objective-C

  • SWIFT

  • Xcode and/or Android Studio

  • Technical understanding of mobile build tools such as Gradle, xcodebuild, & proxy compilers

  • Proven experience with the Software Development Lifecycle

  • Familiarity with the secure Software Development Lifecycle

  • Ability to create processes and tooling to improve operational efficiency

  • Experience with troubleshooting and monitoring issues

  • IT risk experience in the integration of risk controls in a business process

  • Ability to develop feature requirements, prioritize backlogs, review progress, and understand impediments

  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity organization practices, operations, risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering and threats and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies

  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals

  • Proficiency in the use of skills tools, staying current with skills, participating in multiple forums

  • Experience with Agile and can work with at least one of the common frameworks is highly desired.

  • Ability to analyze vulnerabilities, threats, designs, procedures and architectural design, producing reports and sharing intelligence
