The Global Cybersecurity and Technology Controls (“CTC”) functions are responsible for the governance and oversight of the Information Security Program, which is designed to securely enable new business and technology initiatives while maintaining a relentless focus on protecting the Firm and its clients/customers. Within CTC, Governance Risk and Controls group is responsible for overseeing all firm wide work related to technology policies and standards, controls, executive reporting, second and third lines of defense engagement, supervisory and regulatory oversight, and government and Cybersecurity partnerships, as well as regional leadership within CTC.

Within CTC, Governance Risk and Controls group is responsible for overseeing all firm wide work related to technology policies and standards, controls, executive reporting, second and third lines of defense engagement, supervisory and regulatory oversight, and government and Cybersecurity partnerships, as well as regional leadership within CTC.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the development of the modeling to assess effectiveness of controls to mitigate risks

  • Develop the model through engagement with SMEs and GIAM productowners, by iterative application to real use-cases in GIAM and otherareas

  • Enhance the model by facilitating engagement with members from first, second and third lines to challenge the model

  • Create guidance to motivate consistency where the model calls for expert judgment

  • Work with representatives from other risk management processes suchas RCSA and risk appetite to determine broader application of the model

  • Develop Key Risk Indicators to measure progressive changes in risk mitigation

  • Work with colleagues on the risk teams to create a framework for setting thresholds for risk and control metrics

  • Leverage the model to create a framework for a portfolio measurement of risk

  • Supports the development of control options for identified risks

  • Ensure that overall GIAM product strategy aligns with threat landscape, control objectives, and efficiency goals

  • Mentors and develops to high level of performance; shares tacit knowledge gained from experience

  • Cultivates trust through personal and team relationships with a range of Product Owners

Skills:

  • Strong experience in at least one of the following: technology audit or risk management or TCO or risk metrics

  • Extensive familiarity with the other areas on the list above

  • Extensive familiarity with Identity and Access Management required; familiarity with other areas of Technology Risk a plus

  • Ability to think out of the box, to create and evolve risk models tosolve real-world problems. Must have the ability to solvesynthesis-type problems

  • Understanding of the scientific process

  • Willingto postulate based on available facts, show their work, acceptchallenge, and make changes as an essential part of improving theprocess

  • Ability to express complicated concepts simply

  • Ability to apply a process in areas where they are not the SME

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in technology audit, risk management, TCO and risk measurement

  • 5+ years of executive level experience in the above

  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

  • Impeccable managerial and interpersonal skills
