Position Summary

CWM Operations Control & Governance advocates a culture of shared responsibility for managing risk within the Wealth Management Operations organization through collaborative analysis, great-practices sharing, training & awareness and effective governance and execution of control improvement programs.

The Chase Wealth Management Operations Controls & Governance Analyst will partner closely with teams across CWM Operations to provide Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) data analysis support and assist with the Issue Management Program. Key responsibilities will include Business Control Testing, Exam/Audit Ready Testing, Issue & Action Plan Testing, risk and control calibration exercises, and monitor CWM Ops controls for Enterprise Program Management applicability.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Experienced accessing large amounts of data from multiple sources to synthesize data for detailed analysis and creation of key reporting metrics.

  • Investigative analytics: Monitor and query data to recognize anomalies and trends.

  • Present key data and metrics in a consistent, compelling, and easily-understandable fashion

  • Dashboard reporting

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Business analytics experience; at least 3 years experience in a Financial Services environment (Risk and Controls experience preferred)

  • Strong analytical and data analysis skills

  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, graphing, etc.

  • Microsoft Access experience a plus.

  • SharePoint experience a plus.

  • Firmwide Operational Risk and Control Environment (FORCE) application experience a plus.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong process analysis and improvement skills.

  • Strong consulting and relationship building skills.

  • Strong presentation skills.

  • Flexibility: ability to adapt and flourish in the fast-paced, ever-changing, dead-line driven controls environment.
