The Project Management Senior Associate participates in key initiatives, projects, and process design for the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Business Execution Team with primary responsibility of supporting the CRE Digital program.

This role will be responsible for managing multiple medium to large scale, complex projects and initiatives cross-functionally from initiation through post implementation and providing overall direction for project requirements, priorities and deadlines as well as organizing, building and directing the activities of project teams to ensure quality and timeliness of project completion. You will resolve project conflicts with affected management and resolve any other process and project issues to ensure that projects are completed according to time and budget schedules. The role offers a high level of visibility into the Commercial Real Estate business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leads through the execution of multiple projects that involve complex business functions using proven project management methodologies and tools

  • Directly project manage work streams to ensure timely execution and quality of projects

  • Key contributor in creating and implementing a culture and process of continuous improvement to the Business Execution Team

  • Research and identify addressable improvement opportunities within Commercial Real Estate

  • Synthesize information and prepare presentation materials to be shared with senior management, functional groups and other relevant stakeholders

  • Establish working relationships and routinely interface with business stakeholders, technology, subject matter experts (SMEs), compliance, or any other relevant stakeholders

  • Assist with the development, implementation and execution of key monthly reports to be presented to senior managers within the Commercial Bank and across the firm

  • Track and clearly communicate the status of all work in progress

  • Utilize a practical approach to the application of methods such as Six Sigma/ Lean/ Agile

  • Resolves conflict through expert collaboration and broad decision-making

  • Create MS PowerPoint/PitchPro+ documents for presentation to key business partners and senior leadership

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in Project Management (Project execution, Business Transformation Strategy and Execution, Professional Services Consulting)

  • Experience with digital transformation preferred — with a solid digital acumen (i.e., mobile vs web, digital experience, design thinking, prototyping, etc.)

  • Knowledge of Commercial Term Lending or Commercial Real Estate preferred

  • Project management certification or process improvement/Six Sigma is preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree is required

  • Demonstrated experience leveraging Lean Agile methodology as applicable

  • Requires business project experience with some experience working on technology/data projects preferred
