JP Morgan Electronic Trading Technology's Core Infrastructure Development group is seeking a strong C++ developer to join the group. The main development is to provide a highly-distributed, scalable, multicast-based trading platform with well-defined application framework architecture to enable various trading applications within firm's Electronic Trading to easily plugin and seamlessly integrate with other systems on the same trading platform.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

  • Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

  • Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes

  • Keen understanding of financial control and budget management

  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals

  • Advanced knowledge of C++ 11 onwards. Template and generic programming, multi-threaded / concurrent programming

  • Experience in high-performance, low-latency application development, market data distribution and order management system

  • Experience in network programming and familiar with LBM / UME

  • Familiar with all phases of SDLC (unit testing, automatic build and release, peer-review, Jenkins, Jira, GNU Make / Cmake)

  • Familiar with Linux/Unix, understands the OS and kernel architecture, Python and Perl are plusses

  • Knowledge of Equities Electronic Trading business is desirable, but not required
