The Corporate Sector, with an annual operating expense budget of over $10B and headcount of more than 35,000, is managed in two groups: “CTC” (the Chief Investment Office, Treasury and Private Investments), and “Other Corporate” (all other functions). The responsibilities below pertain to Other Corporate only.

The Corporate Sector Finance & Business Management (“CS F&BM”) group provides financial management, business management and reporting support for multiple Corporate functions, including Enterprise Technology, Global Real Estate, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Corporate Responsibility, Audit, Executive and other staff and corporate-aligned areas.

The Corporate Sector Planning & Analysis (P&A) team is a centralized P&A team within CS F&BM supporting the function leaders and their CFOs in the 30+ corporate functions that span the Firm. The team coordinates across all CS F&BM teams and is the liaison with the Firmwide P&A group, Investor Relations, the Regulatory Capital Management Office, Resolution & Recovery, Corporate Financial Reporting, and the Global Finance & Business Management organization. The team consists of approximately 80 people, with primary locations in Jersey City, Columbus and Mumbai.

The FP&A manager will have full responsibilities over Enterprise Tech and Corporate Finance and will support the senior management and business management for both groups, this person will have a high level of interaction with the Global Technology CFO and Finance CFO. The candidate must be able to manage a team of 4-5 resources, organize and deliver monthly and ad hoc requests, and quickly define views that prompt decisions by Senior Management. The role demands superior analytical and presentation skills, besides technical abilities and flexibility. The candidate should have extensive experience in providing monthly financial analysis that highlights key drivers and dependencies impacting results and the overall health of the organization. The candidate should have a good working knowledge of financial systems and processes, as well as strong analytical skills to manage large data sets and turn it into meaningful results for senior management. The candidate will be responsible of delivering efficiency and increasing productivity by streamlining processes and leveraging best practices across Corporate Sector P&A groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversightof monthly corporate deliverables, analysis of financial results and ad hocprojects.

  • Design,establish and maintain an efficient and effective infrastructure to supportmanagement information.

  • Partner with the various groups acrossEnterprise Technology, LOB Tech Finance and Corporate Finance teams to providetransparency and insight to technology expense, delivery schedule, efficiency programsand resource agenda among other items.

  • Ensure processes are in place toprovide the proper level of visibility on investments and expenses with a focuson key drivers.

  • Develop analytical capabilities inorder to strengthen the decision making process, identify trends and increasetransparency to the lines of businesses.

  • Work closely with the GlobalTechnology P&A team to consolidate results and clearly articulate driversfor Corporate Enterprise Technology.

  • Develop and present highly analytical metricsthat give senior management insight into drivers, benchmarking comparisonsand make recommendations for process improvements.

  • Manage completion of Corporatedeliverables, including interaction with Finance teams to provide varianceanalysis and walk forwards of monthly expense trends, risks and opportunities.

  • Bachelor’s degree; finance, accounting,economics, preferred;MBA/CPA preferred

  • 8+years of finance and overall business management experience in a financialorganization

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skillsand ability to work effectively with senior management

  • Provenability to act independently with excellent decision-making skills, effectivelypush back where appropriate and challenge the status quo

  • Demonstratedexperience with strategic planning, issue resolution and negotiation

  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with trackrecord of driving results in challengingand unstructured environments

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills,creative thinker with ability to simplifyconcepts and create or oversee the creation of Powerpoint/Pitch Pro documents

  • Abilityto be strategic and forward-thinking in approach to process improvements

  • Computer literacy skills (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word,Access) Hyperion/Essbase, SAP preferred but not required

  • Highly motivated, self-directed and a teamplayer
