The Corporate Analyst Development Program (CADP) is an entry-level analyst program supporting various teams/LOBs/functions across the firm. The program team falls under the CAO Strategic Initiatives organization and the program management team has members in the US, EMEA, and APAC and India. CADP recruits top talent directly from colleges and universities and has a 10-week summer internship component that is considered a “10-week-interview” for full-time entry into the program upon graduation. CADP US is a structured two-year rotational program during which time analysts perform 3x Eight-month cross-LOB rotations within core disciplines to ensure the appropriate experience and skill development to achieve the program’s objective of creating future generalist leadership. In addition to their experiences within each rotation, analysts are engaged in a robust training and development curriculum that enhances their functional and leadership skills, and provides them with comprehensive feedback and coaching, and positions them for successful future careers in JPMorganChase through a structured performance management process.

Job Function and Responsibilities

The CADP PM will work with key stakeholders in within the CAO functions across the firm and will partner closely with Campus Recruiting, Training, Compensation Team and the HRBPs. Program management responsibilities are critical to the success of the Programs. This role plays a variety of roles within the Program including supporting Analysts & Summer Interns, developing and managing key business relationships, and managing the overall Program strategy & execution. This role provides an excellent opportunity for end-to-end ownership. The role has high visibility with Executives across the company and has the opportunity to work with internal and external partners.

The CADP PM provides an excellent opportunity to work with a team which provides end-to-end ownership by creating and driving strategy around the program objectives (development strategy, post program strategy, performance management, compensation and key program metrics) all the way through the daily execution of the program (placement, coaching, rotations and issue resolution). As new classes come on board driving and differentiating each class year over year especially with compensation and market perspective. The Program Manager will have high visibility to executives across the firm and have the opportunity to partner with analyst-level managers. As the program will need continuous improvement, this role also offers ongoing design and process improvement opportunities aligning with the CAO people strategy. Finally, this role will partner heavily with the CAO Training teams to provide input to the induction boot camp’s content and ongoing curriculum requirements.

Analyst Engagement:

  • Manage all core Analyst processes including: role identification, rotations, end of program mobility, performance management, compensation, and training & development

  • Hold timely, structured meetings with Analysts focused on Program experience, career planning and development, increasing performance/contribution, and issue resolution

  • Provide Analysts, Managers and HRBPs, and local management teams with ongoing program updates

  • Partner with LOB Rotation Managers and HRBPs to manage Analyst performance and address any performance issues

LOB Partnerships:

  • Work with key LOB Executives and local leadership teams to identify roles/rotations and end-of-Program roles for Analysts

  • Proactively partner with LOB Executives and Managers to educate them about the Program and build understanding of Program Analyst expectations

  • Work with key stakeholders to refine and execute recruiting strategies, training and development strategies, LOB engagement, performance management & compensation, and other key program strategies and decisions

  • Partner with key Managers and HRBPs to ensure the successful implementation of the Program in the LOBs and address any issues

Project and Program Management: Be part of the team who:

  • Manage Analyst role/rotation and Summer Intern placement processes

  • Partner with Training on strategy and Execution of Program Training & Development strategy and execution where applicable

  • Manage Program performance management & compensation process

  • Manage End-of-Program mobility process

  • Partner closely with Program Coordinator to successfully implement logistics of training, rotations/roles, placements, etc.

  • Drive the production, analysis, and distribution of key Program metrics

  • Participate in and lead key Program initiatives including developing new Program strategies, process design, process re-engineering, budgeting

  • Partner with other Program Managers in US & Global teams to ensure consistent Program strategies where applicable


  • Partner closely with campus recruiting on key diversity, intern placements and any initiative which comes up

Growth and Enhancement of the Program for new LOB’s, Locations etc.

  • Develop relationships with key leadership teams and HRBPs across LOBs

  • Build understanding of various roles within and across the LOBs; compare/contrast to a variety roles in other key US markets

  • Provide on-the-ground support to Analysts and Summer Interns

  • Manage relationships with LOB Rotation Managers, ensure roles and rotations meet Program criteria, and identify key roles for next rotation cycle/ demand cycle

  • Partner closely with Program Recruiter to develop school strategy for new and existing markets (key universities, student organizations and majors), refine candidate profile and build LOB engagement in recruiting activities

  • Successfully manage change across programs as process improvements and enhancements require

Partner with other Program Managers in US & Global teams to ensure consistent Program strategies where applicable

  • 8-12 years + experience working in Operations, Financial Services Industry or HR organizations, with at least 5 years in a Program Management/management-aligned role

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, strategic client relationships at the Executive level as well as the Supervisor level

  • Excellent verbal and written communications, presentation, and facilitation skills are a MUST

  • Able to manage time effectively, prioritize and escalate appropriately;

  • Demonstrated results and experience with direct and/or indirect people management, including providing feedback, coaching, and development planning

  • HR background a plus but not required

  • Acute attention to detail, follow-through and results orientation;

  • Able to successfully multi-task across tactical and strategic initiatives;

  • High degree of initiative and autonomy but must be able to function successfully as part of a team

  • Honed consultative and influencing skills
