JPMorgan Chase Technology Business Operations Analyst - Cybersecurity in Jersey City, New Jersey

The Role…

The Cybersecurity Technology Business Operations Analyst supports the firm wide Cybersecurity Engineering organization with the planning and execution of strategic priorities, communications, finance, workforce, as well as all administrative and operational activities for the organization’s Governance and Transformation Lead. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected as the Analyst will partner across the global Cybersecurity teams in support of driving strategic priorities, controls, and the overall direction of the organization.

  • Act as a point of contact between the Cyber Engineering leadership team and the broader org to coordinate the planning & execution of strategic initiatives, partner with our Finance & Business Management colleagues to manage the budget & staffing plan, support workforce planning and govern the organization’s operational key performance indicators & control objectives.

  • Assist in strategic and operational planning, assemble annual business plan including goals and related success measures, provide detail for resource requirements and associated expenses to ensure successful execution of goals.

  • Lead and support transformational initiatives to include: process improvement, automation analysis, portfolio management oversight, reporting on internal client delivery challenges and support communications of policies, procedures, guidelines and governance across the organization.

  • Partner with Finance & Business Management to provide direction, advice and analytics across the team to ensure key financial & staffing targets are well-understood and managed, as well as assist in tracking real estate footprint globally and coordinating moves and additional seats required across all locations.

  • Support team weekly leadership meetings, monthly all hands meetings, monthly/quarterly business reviews and annual strategic planning efforts

  • Help to drive town halls, off-sites, and weekly management meetings

  • Ad-hoc project work as directed

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in IT with exposure to Cybersecurity and Business Management functions

  • Proven track record of effectively interacting with senior management

  • Ability to build relationships, work strategically and collaboratively across departments and global time zones

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize competing demands, be versatile and action-oriented

  • Clear communication & presentation skills, and the ability to articulate complex issues concisely

  • Leadership, relationship-building and influencing skills to drive agendas across a number of teams

  • A graduate degree or equivalent experience (in computer science, information systems management, business administration or related field) is desirable

  • Information security certifications (such as CISSP, CISM, CSSLP, CEH/CPT or related business certifications) would be desirable

  • Demonstrated proficiency/advanced skills using Excel and PowerPoint

  • Very strong data analysis, both quantitative and qualitative (VBA, SQL, Excel skills desirable)

  • Excellent command of Cybersecurity organization practices, operations risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering threats and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies

  • Keen understanding of national and international laws, regulations, policies and ethics related to financial industry cybersecurity

  • Noted cybersecurity expert, keeping technical skills current and participating in multiple forums

  • Expertise in Agile and can work with at least one of the common frameworks

  • Ability to identify network attacks and systemic security issues as they relate to threats and vulnerabilities, with focus on recommendations for enhancements or remediation
