  • The position will primarily be responsible for transaction management with respect to the underwriting and closing of new loans

  • Assist loan originators and senior underwriters in analyzing prospective loan investments

  • Maintain and update loan pipeline report

  • Prepare presentations for loan investment opportunities

  • Prepare term sheets and loan applications

  • Coordinate due diligence and underwriting process

  • Engage and review third party reports

  • Engage insurance review

  • Engage KYC and background searches

  • Prepare credit committee memo for final loan approval

  • Coordinate the loan closing and funding process with borrowers, outside counsel, internal operations and investors

  • Prepare and send post-closing loan deliverables to investors

  • Reconciliation of investor lending entity accounts


  • A minimum of 2 years real estate related experience

  • Strong knowledge of real estate underwriting, cash flow analysis and valuation

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Proficiency in Excel and Argus

  • Highly organized, diligent and detail oriented

  • Ability to multitask and manage a large volume of workflow

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Significant initiative and team orientation required
