The Segment One team is looking for an experienced associate to support the Student segment, which focuses on refining our approach to attracting millennial college students as customers. The associate will report to the General Manager of the Student Segment and support and drive developing the overall strategy for this segment, and understand the needs of this segment to build a differentiated, innovative experience that appeals to next-gen customers. The GM will be responsible for supporting growth and acquisition of new college student customers, as well as marketing initiatives to deepen existing college student relationships. The ideal candidate will understand the current millennial college student landscape to deliver an outstanding customer experience via omni channel capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Support thedevelopment and execution of a business strategy that includes identificationand assessment of target market, consumer needs and product solutions; alongwith plans to sustain and build the business

  • Work closely witha cross functional team including design and digital technology teams todefine industry leading product positioning and branding and customerexperiences for this demographic

  • Track and analyze appropriate metrics compared tointernal and external benchmarks

  • Provideexpertise on trade off opportunities including risk/controls

  • Push thethinking on innovative features that cut across product, marketing andservicing

Qualifications:

  • Proven strategyexperience, possesses strength in developing impactful presentations andstorylines for senior audiences

  • Possesses strongability to analyze and interpret data and identify implications

  • Operates as anowner, able to work cross-functionally, prioritize effectively and operateswith a bias towards execution

  • Strategic thinkerwith a passion for creativity and innovation

  • Proven abilitypromoting a strong control environment by adhering to risk/controlexpectations, procedures and processes

  • Collaborates well in a highly matrixed organization andambiguous environment

  • Comfortablepresenting recommendations to senior management and capable of influencingmultiple stakeholders

  • Bachelor’s degreerequired, MBA preferred
