PositionSummary

The Americas Equity Volatility Business Manager will be providing support to the Equity Volatility Trading and Structuring Groups from an end to end perspective.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Act as trusted advisorand counterweight to Business Head and their management team

  • Implementation of newbusiness strategy, strategic initiatives or platform, including aligning frontoffice and support groups (Finance, Tech, Ops, Legal, Compliance)

  • Manage business riskand support control environment

  • Lead roll out ofregulatory rules and compliance policies

  • Analysis of financialperformance including expenses; identify productivity initiatives and driveimplementation

  • Support of AmericasVol, as well as broader Americas Equities Trading with planning, forecasting,quarterly business reviews

  • Partner with crossregional Business Managers and cross LOB Business managers to ensureconsistency and best practices

  • Work closely with thebusiness to optimize RWA and balance sheet usage as well as considering theimpact on Liquidity Coverage Ratio and Leverage Ratio

Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience ina related Markets business function.

  • Bachelor’s degree inFinance or related area

  • Understanding offront-to-back best practices for Equity or Other Derivatives

  • Knowledge ininformation technology within financial institutions and experience in planningand building efficient systems

  • Knowledge andexperience with Equities or other market infrastructure and network management

  • Understanding of legaland compliance requirements for financial institutions

  • Excellent written andoral communication skills

  • Demonstratedcredibility in managing a business or business function

  • Ability to forge stronginternal relationships across a broad range of functions

  • Self-motivated,tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence

  • Ability to prioritizeand multitask well under pressure

  • Ability to analyzelarge data sets and present conclusions concisely

  • Presents well to seniorand global business heads

  • Energetic and dynamicin style
