JPMorgan Chase CIB F&BM Business Change Management – Analyst in New York, New York

Department Description:

Business Support Management (BSM) is a function within CIB Finance & Business Management. The group is responsible for many levels of administrative support services to the Business Managers and directly to the lines of business. This includes, but is not limited to oversight and management of all on and off boarding and in-out transfers as well as tracking the registration process.

The team interacts heavily with the businesses (Investment Banking and Risk), LOB Business Managers, Real Estate, Compliance, Human Resources, and Technology.

Roles and Responsibilities:

This position will support Investment Banking, Global Corporate Bank and CIB Risk but must be able to serve as a back-up for other businesses. Candidate must be comfortable interacting with varying levels of senior management Responsibilities include the following:

  • Business ChangeManagement (formerly OfficeManagement)

  • Management of on/off boarding process andverification

  • Provision of technology hardware,applications and market data

  • Space planning: maintenance of floor plans,move management, cost allocations

  • Other: floor access coordination, businesscontinuity coordination support

  • Maintain Business Resiliency Plans for thebusinesses we support.

  • Update and be responsible for resiliencyannual testing, both on line and at the resiliency sites

  • Additionaljob scope includes providing guidance and support and driving the agenda in thefollowing areas:

  • Ensure that effective business and process controls are maintained consistentlyacross all businesses

  • Participate in and, at times, help lead strategic initiatives and ad hocprojects within Business Support Management

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • 1-2 years of related experience

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Strong and independent problem solving skills

  • Customerservice / Client facing experience is helpful

  • Focus onControls and mitigating Risk factors

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Powerpoint)

  • Excellentrelationship building skills with the ability to listen well and influenceothers

  • Ability towork under pressure, prioritize multiple assignments, and bring tasks tocomplete closure

  • Aself-starter who is organized and consistently meets deliverables

  • Comfortableleading an initiative or playing a support role on the broader team
