The Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Finance and Business Management (F&BM) group provides financial advice to support the CIB’s business strategy and helps to ensure a sound control environment. Within F&BM, the four major areas of responsibility are: Business-aligned BMs (Business Managers), the CIB Controller, Support Staff CFO, and Planning and Analysis.

Department Description:

Business Support Management (BSM) is a CIB Finance & Business Management function focused on 3 principal stripes:

– Business Change Management (BCM)

– Assistant Management

– Expense Management

The Business Change Management (BCM) Team is responsible for control-focused activities in support of CIB businesses. This includes, but is not limited to, management of all on/off boarding and transfers for Markets, Investor Services, Research, and Risk.

Roles and Responsibilities:

This BCM position will support Markets – Sales & Trading. Candidate must be comfortable interacting with varying levels of senior management.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Management of on/off boarding, transfers in/out process

  • Consecutive Leave tracking

  • Provision of technology hardware, applications & market data

  • Floor / Physical access (review and certification)

  • Project Management liaison (i.e. technology upgrades, facilityupgrades, summer intern onboarding)

  • Act as a conduit to CIB & Corporate Real Estate teams;maintenance of floor plans, move management, review of cost allocations / costcenters

  • Provide Business Continuity planning support (Call Trees andDisaster Recovery Site Testing)

  • Enforce a dynamic control/compliance environment and continuallymitigate risk in business processes

Additional job scope includes providing guidance and support and driving the agenda in the following areas:

  • Ensure that effective business and process controls aremaintained consistently across all businesses

  • Participate in and, at times, help lead strategicinitiatives and ad hoc projects within Business Support Management

  • 3-5 years of related experience

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Independent problem solving skills

  • Customer service / Client facing experience is helpful

  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize multipleassignments, and bring tasks to complete closure

  • Excellent relationship building skills with the abilityto listen well and influence others

  • A self-starter who is organized and consistently meetsdeliverables

  • Focus on Controls and mitigating Risk factors

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, andPowerpoint)

  • Comfortable leading an initiative or playing a supportrole on the broader team
