Treasury Solutions Sales Group Manager North East

The Treasury Solutions Sales Group Manager reports to the Head of Middle Market Treasury Services sales.

The role is responsible for; managing/leading over 20+ Treasury Sales professionals developing and executing market strategy, establishing relationships across Commercial Bank leadership; Bankers, Client Service, Product (Core Cash, Card and Commerce Solutions) and Implementation teams..

The Treasury Solutions Sales Group Manager plays a key role in the development of the Treasury Management Officers and Sales Associates.

PrincipleDuties and Responsibilities

  • Lead regional teamof Treasury Sales Officers to deliver on business growth objectives

  • Recruit, train, lead,coach, and motivate field sales managers

  • Monitor staff performance,provides appropriate coaching, recognition and feedback.

  • Oversees Middle Market NortheastTreasury Services budget, sales goals and P&L

  • Develop, monitor andanalyze performance metrics to evaluate national and regionaleffectiveness relative to key metric performance and goals

  • Work with Middle Market leadershipto formulate and execute market strategy for Treasury Services

  • Develop regional/districtstrategies to drive key metrics growth

  • Build collaborativeinternal relationships; Coverage Leadership, Bankers, other internalpartners.

  • Participates in partnermeetings and communicates key Treasury Management messages

  • Cultivate larger prospectrelationships that are regional/national in scope

  • Oversee the development ofactionable relationship plans for select clients.

  • Manage, guide and coachdevelopment of client proposals/presentations.

  • Engages in a disciplinedmarketing process and quality call activities.

  • Manages customerexpectations by communicating upfront timelines and deliverables. Partnerswith the client to ensure a successful implementation of TS products.

  • Protects the firm byapplying sound risk management protocols and adhering to regulatoryrequirements.

  • Lead/execute specialprojects and assignments as required


  • Bachelor’sDegree

  • 10+ years’experience in Treasury Services, Financial Services or related businessexperience

  • 5+years of management experience

  • Experiencein managing geographically distributed team, and managing managers

  • Salesmanagement in an outside business to business sales environment with adocumented track record of success / top performance

  • Strongunderstanding of C&I Treasury Market

  • Strongcoaching, motivation and leadership skills; ability to network, recruit,train, develop and promote field sales managers

  • Abilityto develop, drive and articulate strategy and vision for the team and leada sales force

  • Other Key Competencies include: change management,process management, coaching, strategic leadership, consultancy, delegation,interviewing, exceptional presentation skills,Computer skills - Word - Excel - PowerPoint – Outlook

  • Knowledge of credit card industry, bankingenvironment, or merchant services is preferred, but not required

  • Available for extensive travel (at least 75%)
