The Global Real Estate (GRE) Finance team is comprised of finance professionals across the globe who are accountable for managing both the expense & capital components of JPMC’s corporate Global Real Estate Group, providing value-adding analyses, ensuring a sound control environment, measuring performance, and presenting information and ideas to senior management within Global Real Estate & to the major lines of business. The team covers all aspects of the Firm’s corporate real estate portfolio including, but not limited to, transactions / space management, property management, lease administration, design & construction, and sustainability projects.

Roles& Responsibilities:

  • Financial analysisand scenario modeling:

  • Developa thorough understanding of the real estate initiative / transaction in orderto generate thoughtful financial models

  • Buildbottoms up property and portfolio level scenario analyses in excel, ensuringcompliance to US GAAP and JPMC policies

  • Preparehigh level initial P&L analysis / summaries to help team to hone in ondriving financial assumptions

  • Refine,standardize, and improve model templates / user tools

  • LeverageArgus for property level cashflow projections / analysis

  • Structureanalysis to provide sensitivities of driving assumptions

  • Report on NPV utilizing the Global Dividend Discount Model (DDM)methodology

  • TranslateP&L impact to metrics highlighting magnitude of shareholders value creation

  • Facilitateprompt turn-around to support various strategy and transaction requirements

  • Participationin due diligence of potential acquisitions/divestitures as it relates to realestate holdings

  • Other StrategicAnalytics

  • AnalyzeData, report on key operational / financial metrics & provide recommendations to enhance financialand operational performance of the portfolio

  • Perform highlevel assessment of construction budgets / project cost schedules andcommunicate impact on P&L to relevant stakeholders

  • Understandcomplexities & report on LOB occupancy allocations

  • Evaluate & benchmark GRE’s performance viaanalysis of operating expenses, space usage,project management, transactional efficiency, overall real estate vision, etc

  • Analyzekey portfolio performance indicators relating to historical capital spend, occupancytrends, and asset valuation.

  • Bachelor's degree in businessrelated discipline

  • Must have 2-5 years of real estate finance experience

  • Must have financial underwriting experience

  • Expert with Microsoft Office suite, Argus;proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint

  • Ability to analyze data, processinformation and work under minimal supervision

  • Ability to maintain composure in afast-paced environment and prioritize projects accordingly

  • Communication skills - Ability tocommunicate succinctly and efficiently, comfortable interacting withsenior business/Corporate leaders

  • Organizational ability - Abilityto handle numerous deliverables simultaneously, many with criticaldeadlines. Candidate must be comfortable with frequently changingpriorities
